This is a self reminder on why I turn to Christ.

I was diagnosed by doctors to have mid-range depression back at 2008. I wrote a suicide letter at the back of an exam, and was taken by the police to the hospital. A year later, I was ready to end my life because I simply saw no hope in my life. A last meal in a "fancy" Japanese restaurant would be nice. Before I left the restaurant to end my life a thought has come to my mind, remember the people who spread the gospel to you a few months ago? Remember the God that you come to know since childhood and rejected during teenage year? Maybe I should try praying and see what happen.

I prayed to God if You really exists and You really love me, then save me from killing myself and bring me to church. His response was (not exact word). "Son, I love you...why don't you sit there for ten minutes? I will send someone to bring you to church. Just hold on for ten minutes."

My reaction was sure, LOL. My mind likes to play tricks with me, but for entertainment sake I stayed for ten minutes just to see what happen. Surely enough, ten minutes later a friend I haven't seen in a long, long time has shown up. In short, he is actually a Christian. So i decided to give church a chance, and become a Christian since.

Thanks for reading.

Isn't the mercy of God amazing brother! There is no reason we could ever give to be deserving of the loving kindness He shows to us, and I will forever praise Him for that. He loves you and has a purpose for you! Thank you so much for sharing. GBU xx
