Psalm 145:18 & 19 - The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon Him, to all that call upon Him in truth. He will fulfill the desire of them that fear Him: He also will hear their cry, and will save them.
I want to thank the Lord our God for making me see His Word of Truth more clearly this morning. I sought Him and He answered me, I cried out in pain because of my fractured bones and He delivered me. The Lord God is more real to me than any physical pain I bear. I spoke to God and was reminded that He not only spoke the universe into existence but that He maintains its existence as well. He created me and can maintain and take care of me, too.
The Lord asked me, "What would you have Me do?" And I sat for some time not knowing how to answer that, which surprised me. When the Almighty God of all creation asks you what you want, that's a grand opportunity, ya know?
I finally answered, "I want healing in my bones but You already know that and are taking care of me. So I want this request: let my three children and my grandchildren follow after You always and know You intimately. And show me how to give and bless others like You did when You walked this earth."
That maybe doesn't sound like a fantastic testimony. But God communed with me so personally, so powerfully, so real to me this morning, I not only felt it, but I knew in my mind more strongly than ever that I was indeed family to Him. It wasn't a warm thought or some faith I was trying to conjure up. God in His miraculous nature revealed Himself as my true Father.
No, it's not the first time the Lord has revealed Himself. But it was the first time I wasn't bowed down in fear of Him. This morning I communed with God as His beloved daughter without a shred of doubting. I am amazed at Him. AMAZED.
