Hi guys: i just wanted to give you a testimony.
you probably think I'm a brave prayer warrior or some foolishness that I go around speaking my mind and praying over people, but i'm not. I dont pray out loud. I'm worried I'd say the wrong thing. I know I shouldn't listen to the whispers but sometimes they whisper truth you just have to find the other half they are leaving out. so the whispering is "God told you that you are a prophetess so you have the power to bless and the power to curse with you spoken word, its better if you just don't speak." Remember most of my life i was surrounded by non Christians. of my family only my youngest brother has converted to Christianity and that was due to my sister in law taking him to church with her, not any act of mine except silent prayer for their salvation. Most of the christians (who belonged to the Episcopalian church) told me that there were other paths to God besides Jesus, though it didn't sound right I didn't have the words or courage to refute and rebuke them. Well I'm learning to speak the voice of Truth though most don't want to hear it pertaining to their lives. Nice idea the truth, except when it makes the person admit they have sinned and are in need of Confession, repentance and forgiveness/mercy.
No I refuse to not speak against the darkness. the other half they left out that I am learning to trust and believe is "God is in control, no matter what you say or do. If you do it with a pure heart and out of love, then God will understand even if you make mistakes. He will read your soul and not just your words and make it good and right before His eyes and so His glory will be revealed to the world. All you need to do is believe and walk in faith, that is all God requires of His people and His prophets."
So I know its sillly but I forget to pray out loud sometimes and this is a testimony of how important it is to say OUT loud a prayer for you family every night before they sleep. My kids have been waking up the last few nights, but last night I prayed out loud with them this prayer:
"dear Lord thank you for your many blessings that you have given us today and in all our lives. Please continue to bless and guide us. Surround us with your angels to protect us tonight from the forces of darkness and do not allow them to trouble our sleep. Lord Your power reigns on Earth as it does in Heaven and Your glory and Majesty rules the forces of Light. Let your light surround and protect us. engulf us so that we may shine forth and be beacons to call Your people home and back to You loving embrace. All this we pray in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and savior."
Guess what!!! the kids haven't woke me up because of nightmares last night. my daughter didn't want to go to sleep until 10 pm because she was thristy, had to go to the bathroom, etc but normally one of them will wake me up at 2 am or something and i'd be a little testy the rest of the day and physically exhausted, but i'm actually feeling good this morning.
Anyway thanks for reading, perhaps I'll grow in faith and courage and be able to speak my prayers out loud to those who really need to hear heartflet prayers for them and their lives. But right now I'll just practice saying/typing prayers to you guys.
Dear Lord Bless this site and those who truly seek your face. Keep the wolves in check and make them uncomfortable attacking your flock who have gathered here for fellowship and to better seek Your will for our lives and let your sleeping giant rise and catch those demons by surprise, show the world that YOU reign and demons have no power over any follower of Christ, because you have said in Your Holy Word: the least in the Kingdom of Heaven is greater then the King of Darkness in this world. We are Your people Lord, let us see through your eyes so we may be your hands and your feet. Give us your heart so we may speak Your words to the world so the Whole world HEars and sings praises to Their KIng for HE LIVES! In Jesus name we pray, Amen

My theme song throughout High school when I believed in Jesus and believed the lies of the demons that said I was unworthy and did not act or speak my faith for my fear of failure and my lack of faith in myself.
I just took it one step at a time, cling to the hands of my Heavenly Father and His angels.
