I've always thought I didn't have much of a testimony. . .but I guess I do. I grew up in a Christian home and accepted God as my savior in the third grade. I grew up with a lot of emotional abuse from my mom and sisters but I've reached the point of forgiveness now. I moved a lot because my father was in the air force and when he retired we came to Oregon. My spiritual journey has definetly had a lot of rough spots and a lot of satan's tools have come up against me. I started struggling with depression really badly and got into cutting during high school and almost into an eating disorder. I attempted suicide a couple of times and ended up going to a recovery/counseling center.

I did stop reading my bible sometimes but i have always known that God is right here with me. I'm in recovery now and getting closer to God everyday! I'm really focusing on loving myself and breaking out of my shell of isolation. I want to be a billboard for God. . .I just have to let go of all my fears. I'm learning who I am in Christ and trying to get rid of all the lies Satan has shoved in my head :)
