We must not forget this.
Healing comes from confessing (a word that literally means to state, or admit what you have done)
When I finally learned this, It was so freeing, I could go to God and say thank you God for forgiving me for (insert whatever I did) And God. I need help next time, Who should I go to for help. Because I do not want to keep making this same error over and over.

I used to be a master of this.
It came from being told over and over in Church,, "this is what these people teach, this is what they believe, They will continually use these as examples and proofs to support their false ideas."
So we look for key words, and boom. Yep I knew it, you believe this way, Instead of actively listening and trying to figure out what they really believe.

actually the question itself is a pretty leading question.
why would someone ask about a Christian practicing sin, when scripture says clearly they can not do this?
Indonesian. Their Christian mother was arrested and threatened with death for being a Christian. Broke my heart. That's why I put it there.

There are many ways to confess...one is to "say the same thing" about a deed that was indeed a sin ( little play on words there..) to God or to others you have harmed
The other side of the coin = I also confess that Jesus is my righteousness and holiness. His life and blood that was shed on the cross has saved me and made me whole!
Confession is not just about "sin"...( this is how we evangelicals that are so sin-focused usually think about when we hear "confess" ).....however....we will be "confessing" truth for all eternity without any reference to sin!

I don't know, one of these folk who believe in this grace says scripture clearly states christians cannot practice sin
Another one of them says the mark of a christian is addiction to sin is broken
Yet the all believe Paul spoke of his christian life in rom7:7-11&14-23
