“What” to be and “for whom” to be? “What” to receive and “from whom” to receive?

• “A woman of virtue is a crown to her husband, but she who causes shame is like rottenness in his bones.” (Pro 12:4).

To men: what kind of woman do you long for: a crown or rottenness in your bones?

To women: what kind of wife do you desire to be: an ornament of glory in the head (1Cor 11:7) or the cause of sin in the life of your husband, which make his bones rotten and old (see Ps 32:3)?

The Holy Scripture is clear: a wise woman builds her own house (and not the house of other people – Prov 14:1). I know that the concepts and values are outright distorted (as in Isaiah 5:20). Notwithstanding, there are moments that we need to follow the advice of Jeremiah:

• “So says Jehovah, stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths where the good way is, and walk in it, and you shall find rest for your souls. But they said, we will not walk in it.” (Jer 6:16).

Of course, there are people that earns little money and, in virtue of this, both husband and wife work in different places and jobs to nurture their home.

Nevertheless, we can’t sort out a problem without consider the concepts and values of the Holy Scripture. This only will exacerbate the evil. We need to figure out that every situation that we face is a try of the Creator, a moment that He prepared specially for us, so that we can be used by Him to make His power, grace and wisdom known before principalities and potentates (Eph 3;10; 1Peter 4:10).

So, the role of the woman is, as Sara, to be submissive to her husband, doesn’t fearing any disturb or tribulation (1Pe 3:6), but always ready to hide her husband in her heart. That is to say, she ought to cover her husband, namely, with a meek and quiet spirit (which is in the sight of God of great price (1Pe 3:4)), she ought to dedicate her life to be filled with necessaries Jesus’ virtues to complete what is missing in her husband.

The aim of the wife isn’t to grow by herself and for herself and, thus, to cooperate with her husband; instead, she needs to stay in prayer and poring on the Holy Scripture so that everything that her husband needs to glorify the Creator, he can find in the her life and, thus, be esteemed among people great before the Creator amid circumstances of extreme value physical and spiritual (Prov 31:23).

Recollect that the woman was created to help the man to fructify, multiply, fill the Earth and subject it to Jesus’ dominion (see Gen 1:28; Isaiah 11:9; Hab 2:14).

So:

• To married men: have a good day seeking in your wife the virtues that Jesus put in her so that you can fulfill Jesus’ mission for you;

• To single men: have a good day seeking to please the Creator (1Cor 7:32) until you are ready to recognize and receive the true virtue that will make all difference in your life through your fiancée.
• To married women: have a good day seeking your spiritual bread of each day that will satiate your husband (Deut 8:3; Mat 4:4).

• To single women: have a good day seeking to be holy and pure to the Creator (1Cor 7:34) so that can exist in you all room to be filled with the pure virtues of Jesus and, thus, be a fruitful vine in the table of your future husband (Psalm 128:3).
