Acts like a duck
Quacks like a duck
Looks like a duck....

It's not a mule....
your avatar looks like a woman, and you complain like one also [like an ex-wife], don't know how you sound and truly never desire to, but does the same concept and principle apply?

This has pretty much been your message from the get-go. The body has lost its way; the entire
church has gone astray
. We must listen to the voices of God's prophets to get on the right track.
If you can't seen how this is a serious problem then I really don't know how to explain it to you.
How is it different from much of what you say? .:oops::unsure:. Thread after thread about it, post after post...

The modern church has become such a love fest people can't get their heads around
the idea that it was set up to keep the leaven out. The inmates are running the asylum.

you present some of the best one liners to take off and run with. so, i will try to always say that, before responding, so you know it is not aimed at you.

had i not been here long enough to understand how things are around here, i would have only saw Blain versus Yourself, John, RA.

the real reason i jumped in, is because, the more Blain posted, the more the responses became YOU"RE STUPID, NOT a PROPHET, PROVE YOURSELF, SHOW US A SIGN like a true Pharisee.

honestly, if Blain was ME, or those i can tell are very secure in them self + God, i would have just laughed and kept laughing.
but that isn't who Blain is.

So, i think a better Thread Title would be: Trip the Crippled and keep beating crappola out of him!

All, most any of the posters here know is what the other posters want them to think they know. We can make educated guesses. I am reminded of when a grand kid was all excited telling us about the beautiful cheerleader who was talking to him on line . I asked him who does she think you are? he deflated. That cheerleader could have been the drunk fat guy from the city, golf, fishing and internet can quickly make fibbers .
Most every one posting in/on a Christian site will tell another I learned XYZ from the Holy Spirit yet the views maybe miles apart... Can we, all of us any, of us approach the Scriptures with an open mind or are we influenced by parents, news headlines, book titles, movies . Influenced by Grandma and the blessed way she told us Bible stories. Our lives make up a big part of the framing of what/why we believe, how we choose to believe the Scriptures. What seems so clear to one may confuse another. Which keeps forums busy.
Personally, i am very skeptical of other posters because of my life experiences. That skepticism shows clearly in my postings. All others know about me is what they glean from postings.

See why i mostly stick to one liners ?

You are making Bible interpretation EXTREMELY SUBJECTIVE. And that is simply incorrect.

Scripture is objective truth, and comparing Scripture with Scripture under the guidance of the Holy Spirit must lead to a correct interpretation. Which means that all Scriptures which have a bearing on any subject must be taken into account. And the Holy Spirit will also convince others as to whether you have rightly divided the Word of Truth or not. What did Christ say? That the Holy Spirit would lead Christians into all truth.

At the same time we do see on Christians forums many errors being promoted. But those who can discern this will discern it. Since this thread is about cults, cult members target those who are mostly ignorant of what is in the Bible. Unfortunately even too many Christians are in this position, and some get sucked into the cults. They are so convincing about their false teachings, that it requires a person to really know what the Word says.

Discernment is an absolute fact, first and foremost. I won't divulge names, but in my inbox are several Members here who have asked, how did i know what was happening when i interacted and felt led to post something i believed was from God.

but, i generally won't address 3 people at once, i am more one on one. if the whole is producing the same defense/offense, then you can go after a group at once.

personally, i like to present Facts to back me up, like i did with picture of Yul, the usa gymnast and his mom's name. but in cases like if i was explaining a miracle, if someone does not have Discernment, you can type to your fingers turn BLUE and it will be received as lies. so i have found here that basically people are on Two Levels of understanding.
1. that still has many naturalistic human reasoning
2. those who know how to dwell in the Spirit Realm

one would think on a Christian Platform, the majority would fall into Category Numeral Two.
i would venture to believe, what one can feel between our spirits, maybe, only 4 people live in the true Spirit Realm here at CC.

Still...
Many know what the Bible says...especially those in regular attendance in small group Bible studies....

However, applying the scriptures you know is much better.

Now I get that most small groups like to preach morality lessons from scriptures....and it's popular to do so.

But God's word has been given to us for our benefit. (Which does include morality)
Meaning that there are cautions in the scriptures to protect us from the ne'er-do-wells that seem to infect every group out there.

And then there's groups like Hillsong...where I'm sure they started out with the best of intentions...but some members, due to self sacrificing behaviors, found themselves becoming cult members. (Of course that pastor was scum too).

People come to resent church organizations because they give and give until they are an emotional and financial train wreck. And in a moment of self preservation they say "enough". Then get angry. And never return.

anyone like what you presented was never a true Believer anyway.
odd, how you're able to describe them with such precision and accuracy like you personally know.
