Or we could just give him the death penalty which after killing at least 12 people and injuring dozens more he deserves. You can give him all the love and forgiveness you want. He still has a justice system to go through and deserves to pay for his crimes. Forgiveness doesn;t mean he gets out of criminal acts scot-free.

Should we really quibble over what kind of death penalty he deserves anyway? If we go into specifics, we descend into barbarism. The idea of capital punishment is hard enough to swallow in some ways.
Let's allow the law to conform to its true purpose and let God be his ultimate judge.

Guess what? We all deserve to burn in Hell. Not one of us is good. All have fallen short of the glory of God. Thankfully God does offer us mercy, grace... salvation.
