The 144,000 first born males of Israel were the replacements for the first born who died in Egypt. Every life had to be accounted for. From the age of birth to the age of twelve years old. None were defiled by the corruption of the world,and they touched no woman. they were without spot, or blemish.These were not death sacrifices on the alter like the animals were. They had to go through a procedure in order for God to redeem them. None lived past the age of twelve. At their appointed time, they were taken up by God. This continued year, after year until the number had been fulfilled. twelve thousand had to come from each tribe of Israel. The twelve tribes. These are the 144,000 servants of God in Heaven.

The "Male Child" is a collective name for the 144,000 who will not be from heaven, but will be literal Israelite's who will be on the earth during that last seven years. This group will come out of unbelieving Israel (gives birth to) who will recognize Jesus as their Messiah. These will be on the earth during the first 3 1/2 years of the seven year period and will be "caught up" to God and his throne in the middle of the seven years out of the dragons reach.

There is just no scripture to support that:

* They are from heaven

* That they are 12 years old or less

* That this continue year after year until the number was fulfilled

If they were 12 years old or less, it would make no sense to say that they did not defile themselves with women and that because they would be children.

You are correct that they will all be males, but they will be adult male Israelite's who will be on the earth during the first 3 1/2 years.
