This pain is crippling.
I feel sick.
I think I might just drink until I pass out tonight. No other way to temporarily ease the pain.
 
drinking yourself into oblivion isn't the answer.....but then you know that. you haven't said what the pain is being caused by but based on your 'solution' to the problem i think it is fairly safe to say that drinking itself is the problem or at the least a contributing factor..................Proverbs 23:29-35 who has woe? who has sorrow?who has strife? who has complaints? who has needless bruises? who has bloodshot eyes?..........
 
Praying for you. The Lord is your Sheppard and can carry you through. Read the Book of Job... a man who lost everything a man can lose. God is faithful, he's your Sheppard who won't leave you alone. He'll leave the 99 to come and find you.
 
From reading your posts it sounds like you've lost a partner. I'm sorry you're going through this pain. One thing to remember is that thanks to God, this doesn't have to be permanent. Through the offering of His perfect son He has given us all a place in His Kingdom- where we will be re-united with lost loved ones..

"Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! So sorry for the pain you're feeling! I hear you when you talk about how you want to handle it. I might kick up some dust here, but I don't completely disagree with this method. It's certainly not a permanent solution to pain, but alcohol can be a blessing that can lift some pretty hefty weights when pain is fresh. I know this from experience, but you're still gonna have to pick up the pieces when you're sober. Spend time in prayer and in the word, and there will be immense comfort in that. Blessings to you! First of all-I'm sorry to hear that you feel yourself like that. But I just want you to say-you should-accept the pain (grief, sadness, anger-whatever it may be). That feeling is an essential part of the healing process. It takes time to heal the wounds-emotional or physical. But with God all things are possible.

I pray that your heart and mind might find comfort and peace in Jesus Christ name.
