Many miss the fact that the angels are also referred to as "saints," who are the only ones who will ever fight in the Heavenlies and on this earth to destroy the enemies of Israel.
The main Old Testament passages where angels are called "saints":
- Deuteronomy 33:2 — “ten thousands of holy ones”
- Psalm 89:5–7 (especially 89:5, 7) — “the assembly of the holy ones”
- Job 5:1 — “To which of the holy ones will you turn?”
- Job 15:15 — “his holy ones”
- Daniel 4:13, 17, 23 — “a watcher, a holy one”
- Daniel 7:10 — “thousands upon thousands attended him”
- Daniel 7:13, 18, 22, 25, 27 — “holy ones / saints” in the kingdom context
- Zechariah 14:5 — “all the holy ones with you”
Just a tidbit of info that can be interesting to anyone wanting to study this.
