1 When David was told, “Look, the Philistines are fighting against Keilah and are looting the threshing floors,” 2 he inquired of the Lord, saying, “Shall I go and attack these Philistines?” The Lord answered him, “Go, attack the Philistines and save Keilah.”
This is incredible, it is hard to believe. David is gone, he has fled, and yet Saul is so concerned with killing David that he doesn’t care about the Philistines robbing Israel? This would be like in the midst of a pandemic, that we now know came from a bioweapons lab in China, suppose at this time our government was more concerned with impeaching Trump who has already left office. Perhaps exposing pedophiles at the Lincoln project, getting 1.5 million signatures to recall Gavin Newsom, and uncovering a horrible scandal with Governor Cuomo who knowingly sent infected Covid patients into nursing home with the most vulnerable to make the pandemic worse which could help Biden get elected.

We are going from patently absurd to just completely nuts. How on earth would the Republicans agree to impeach the President after he has left office? Why would they agree to this. Still, it is the only way to continue with this completely absurd story. I know a lot of people claim the Bible is not true and no doubt chapters like this give the Bible a bad name. 19 The Ziphites went up to Saul at Gibeah and said, “Is not David hiding among us in the strongholds at Horesh, on the hill of Hakilah, south of Jeshimon? 20 Now, Your Majesty, come down whenever it pleases you to do so, and we will be responsible for giving him into your hands.” 21 Saul replied, “The Lord bless you for your concern for me. 22 Go and get more information. Find out where David usually goes and who has seen him there. They tell me he is very crafty. 23 Find out about all the hiding places he uses and come back to me with definite information. Then I will go with you; if he is in the area, I will track him down among all the clans of Judah.” 24 So they set out and went to Ziph ahead of Saul. Now David and his men were in the Desert of Maon, in the Arabah south of Jeshimon. 25 Saul and his men began the search, and when David was told about it, he went down to the rock and stayed in the Desert of Maon. When Saul heard this, he went into the Desert of Maon in pursuit of David.

They will cheat on the election, they will change laws illegally, they will threaten witnesses, dox them, and be in contempt of court ordered subpoenas, all with the hope that doing a favor to the head honcho will be repaid.
26 Saul was going along one side of the mountain, and David and his men were on the other side, hurrying to get away from Saul. As Saul and his forces were closing in on David and his men to capture them, 27 a messenger came to Saul, saying, “Come quickly! The Philistines are raiding the land.” 28 Then Saul broke off his pursuit of David and went to meet the Philistines. That is why they call this place Sela Hammahlekoth.[b] 29 And David went up from there and lived in the strongholds of En Gedi.[c]

This is why you have to continue to speak, expose the hypocrisy of Saul bringing an army to Keilah to get David but not to protect the people. This way the next time this happens he can’t afford a second scandal. It may seem that they simply ignore the truth and lie with impunity. But there is a cost to that. Every time they do it they lose more support, they lose more credibility. Initially people may wonder what David did, is he guilty. Only a few stay with him. After they kill 85 priests more go to him and he has 400 men. Then he has 600 men. Little by little the country becomes clear who the real problem is.
