I have to say though, I think you and spherical both show evident signs of a massive case of confirmation bias.
you clearly see it in him but i see it in what you wrote to me as well. have you ever put yourself in spherical shoes? try to feel like him for a minute. anything anybody says reinforces his belief that the earth is flat. confirmation bias is evident in him. have you ever considered that you could be doing the same thing everytime you find yet another thing that confirm your belief?

Couldn't care less whether it's flat or round. I do care for, and am a bit concerned about, you tho.
I get what you're getting at, and you pose a valid question, but they are different things. Spherical relies on YouTube videos and the work of others. He's never gone out and seen the world for himself. I have, on the other hand, gone out and seen the spiritual realm in action. I don't know what I know because some guy on a pulpit told me to. I know what I know because of what I have seen with my eyes and done with my hands. I've considered other religions, and atheism, but none of those explained what I have personally learned and experienced as well as the Word of God. Altho I'll give it to you, my understanding of it is often far removed from what is taught in church these days.
I'm on the road next 2 days. Hope that gives you something to consider.

a "circle" is purely 2-dimensional.
you are in fact describing a "disc" -- a three dimensional term - NOT a circle earth.
((so again, using Isaiah 40:22 to justify this is completely invalid))
the projection onto 2-dimensions of both a disc and a sphere is a circle.
this however is true of a disc ONLY from one perspective -- the 2-d projection of a disc from a perpendicular angle (looking from any side, not straight down) is a rectangle, NOT a circle. but the 2-d projection of a sphere from ANY direction is a circle.
in that respect, A SPHERE IS MORE CIRCULAR THAN A DISC.

If Earth were a ball 25,000 miles in circumference, Mount Foraker’s 17,400 summit should be leaning back away from the observer covered by 7,719 feet of curved Earth. In reality, however, the entire mountain can be quite easily seen standing straight from base to summit.

In Chambers’ Journal, February 1895, a sailor near Mauritius in the Indian Ocean reported having seen a vessel which turned out to be an incredible 200 miles away! The incident caused much heated debate in nautical circles at the time, gaining further confirmation in Aden, Yemen where another witness reported seeing a missing Bombay steamer from 200 miles away. He correctly stated the precise appearance, location and direction of the steamer all later corroborated and confirmed correct by those onboard. Such sightings are absolutely inexplicable if the Earth were actually a ball 25,000 miles around, as ships 200 miles distant would have to fall approximately 5 miles below line of sight!
The distance from which various lighthouse lights around the world are visible at sea far exceeds what could be found on a ball-Earth 25,000 miles in circumference. For example, the Dunkerque Light in southern France at an altitude of 194 feet is visible from a boat (10 feet above sea-level) 28 miles away. Spherical trigonometry dictates that if the Earth was a globe with the given curvature of 8 inches per mile squared, this light should be hidden 190 feet below the horizon.

you know I like debating on things like this
lol..28 miles away and 8 inches drop in curvature can only be measured straight out in a straight line of sight not squared
so the drop over 28 miles away in a straight line from the light house base one would stand at the shore line from below the light house to the boat at sea level this drop would be 3 feet 4 inches I hardly can see a human eye seeing that drop over 28 miles.
If a person was in the light house 204 feet above sea level that's not a good measurement looking down at a object to determine the curvature of the earth at sea level.
