Theologically, Coptic Christianity is very similar to Roman Catholicism and Eastern Orthodoxy. They profess to be genuine followers of Jesus Christ and a part of His worldwide Church. But, as with Catholicism, they tend to emphasize meritorious works in salvation along with liturgical ritual rather than salvation through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

So are they really christians? Do they fit the scriptures if they just belong to a group and aren't actually Children of God?

Are you all basing your end times calculations off of a people that don't believe in Jesus as their savior?

Oh, but muslims are the best people in the world. Especially when you encounter to chat with one along with a self hating whitey (who says that whites, christians and catholics are the worst of people) where they can't even answer you a verse where women are beaten other than 'to glorify allah' (self hating whitey said this, that's what makes it hysterical). Yet the Bible is the one full of corruption, because you know, women beating is more tolerable than being silent at church.

I'm done with muslims. I want nothing to do with one, I don't want to look at one, I tried to respect the fact that they are valued as a human being but at this point I can't say I do that now.

Here's a good one. A Muslim in Detroit walked up to a bus stop and asked two people if they are Muslims. When they said no, he started stabbing them. Really going to work.

But the media couldn't report the truth as it happened because to do so would be self-defeating to the leftard ideology they are perpetuating so instead they lied and simply said the Muslim was the victim.

When the public found out it was a lie they forced a retraction. Muslim stabs two for being non-Muslim; WaPo headline writer just can’t say it | Twitchy

So, because they weren't white American Christians... they weren't really Christians? Is that what I just read?

Pray for those who suffer for the Lords name sake.

Islamic State releases video purporting to show beheading of 21 Egyptians in Libya

Revelation 20:4
And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
God bless those brave Christians for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God!

As for ISIS - Proverbs 8:36 - but he who fails to find me injures himself; all who hate me love death.

So, because they weren't white American Christians... they weren't really Christians? Is that what I just read?

No. It's the fact that they were trashing on white folks and they weren't even muslim and yet saying that christians were worse than them.

He will be Roman.

26, And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but17 not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations18 are determined.

Roman???? Where do you see Roman in the above passage??? I don't know what you call people with a long held view who stick with in even though evidence all around them is showing their view to be wrong. Whatever they are called, you are it.

Do you really think Islam knows or cares who true Christians are? Christians don't even know who a true Christian is by just looking at them? Also the scriptures say no man can confess Jesus Christ as Lord except by the Holy Spirit.

1 Corinthians 12:3[SUP]3 [/SUP]Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.

The 7 headed beast (4th and final beast of Daniel) John saw come out of the sea has been in place for some time now, the beast is a global beast made up of all nations, peoples, and tongues. Just as the "mark" of the beast, and the spirit of antichrist has also been around since the time of the apostles.

Islam most definitely has the spirit of antichrist working in them, because they reject Jesus Christ, but so do many other beliefs including mans science. The spirit of antichrist is global, and so also is the mark of the beast, which is an inward mark that has to do with the heart and mind of the firstborn nature in man.

Ishmael was also a sign of this, being the firstborn of Abraham, as Islam believes in Ishmael over Isaac. But this sign was also shown in Cain and Esau who were also the firstborn. Firstborn man is of the earth, flesh, carnally minded=sin nature=red mark.

The children of the flesh have always persecuted the children of the Spirit.

I agree with most of your post, especially the part about their being a spirit of antichrist at work and that this spirit goes all the way back to Ishmael and Cain. I agree also that "children of the flesh" (Ishmael Gal 4) always persecute children of the spirit.

But here is where you are wrong. Daniel's 4th beast is not the same as the beast John saw coming out of the Sea.

Daniel's beasts are: Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece and Rome
John's beasts are: Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, Rome, Ottoman Empire and the 8th and final beast

Daniel makes very clear in 7:23-25 that ten horns will arise from his fourth beast, then another horn will arise after them and subdue 3 of the horns. The "horns" are people or kings who have not received a kingdom. John echoes this very same thing in Rev 17:12. Thus they are 10 leaders without countries to lead. What leaders are there today causing trouble who are not heads of state?

If you look at Rev 13:2 description of the BEAST from the SEA, you see where this beast is from:

[SUP]2 [/SUP]Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion.

This corresponds to Dan 7:

[SUP]3 [/SUP]And four great beasts came up from the sea, each different from the other.
[SUP]4 [/SUP]The first was like a lion
[SUP]5 [/SUP]“And suddenly another beast, a second, like a bear
[SUP]6 [/SUP]“After this I looked, and there was another, like a leopard

These are universally recognized as:

Lion = Babylon (IRAQ)
Bear = Medo-Persia (IRAN)
Leopard = Greece (includes Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, etc)

Thus John saw the BEAST from the SEA not from ROME but from the locations of the other 3 beasts that Daniel saw.

Yeah Rome was the beginning of the 4th and final beast which would be the origin of the "little horn"aka "tail of red dragon"= spirit of a lie working through the firstborn son nation Israel. (little flock) And we know when this final beast would first be in place here.

Revelation 12:3-5[SUP]3 [/SUP]And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.
[SUP]4 [/SUP]And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.
[SUP]5 [/SUP]And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne."

So this beast was in place at the time of Jesus birth. But the "little horn" is also shown in scripture as casting the host and stars to the ground, just as is shown in the tail of the Red Dragon. The little horn is also known as "it" in prophecy, which speaks of the spirit of a lie.

It's a great mystery, and hard to understand, but I wrote a whole study on the book of Revelation if you care to read it.

The wicked one does not care he only wants to destroy everybody.

God has said that the death of His saints is precious in His sight but the death of the wicked is not so.

How much more must we endure before we plead with our God to take us into His presence and spare us from having to witness this barbarism?

When will the church cry unto God like the children of Abraham when they were in Egypt? God sent Moses to deliver them and God will send Christ to gather us out of this wicked world.

... the scriptures say no man can confess Jesus Christ as Lord except by the Holy Spirit.
Do you think this means no one can utter those words without being saved? Because you would be very, very wrong.

1 Corinthians 12, NASB
3 Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God says, "Jesus is accursed "; and no one can say, "Jesus is Lord," except by the Holy Spirit.

Experience tells us that unbelievers are capable of saying the three words, "Jesus is Lord." This has led people to conclude that it must be talking about a sincere profession of Jesus as Lord. It is argued that while anyone can say the words "Jesus is Lord," only a believer could say that with sincerity.

That view, however, also seems to be flat-out wrong. Experience tells us that there are many moral, religious unbelievers who are capable of sincerely saying and believing that Jesus is Lord. Certainly most there are many "churches" and "denominations" that sincerely believe in and profess that Jesus is Lord, but by their doctrines prove they do not know the God of the Bible.

If this verse isn't saying that unbelievers are incapable of sincerely saying Jesus is Lord, then what is it saying? It is important to note that Paul does not say, "No one can say that Jesus is Lord unless he is born again." Instead he says, "No one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit."

In Matt 7:21 Jesus said, "Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven … " In context the profession of those unbelievers who say "Lord, Lord" appears to be genuine. That is, they sincerely believe that Jesus is Lord and expect Him to grant them kingdom entrance on the basis of their works (see v. 22).

Similarly, in Phil 2:10, 11 we learn that someday everyone – including all the unbelievers who have ever lived! – will "confess that Jesus Christ is Lord." The ultimate question, then, is what Paul means by the limiting phrase, "except by the Holy Spirit." It most naturally means that whenever anyone sincerely acknowledges Jesus' Lordship he or she does so as a result of the work of the Holy Spirit in his or her life.
It is mistake of the first order to think that the Holy Spirit can only work in the lives of believers. If that were true, no one could be saved.

It is also a mistake to think that the Holy Spirit is only revealing saving truth to unbelievers. The Holy Spirit is moving unbelievers to believe (and even to profess) the truths of creation, the Trinity, the Lordship of Christ, inerrancy, Jesus' virgin birth, His resurrection, etc.

This also sheds light on the flip side of the question. If a person is unwilling to say, "Jesus is Lord," it does not prove conclusively that he is unsaved. A Christian could even be so out of fellowship with God that although he believed in Jesus' Lordship, he was unwilling to profess it. In 1 Corinthians 12:3, Paul is not giving us here a litmus test of true Christians. Instead, he is giving us a litmus test of the work of the Spirit in one's life-and that is all.

I didn't say what I thought it meant, I just quoted scripture. Good grief! lol

Didn't deny that's what you think it means, either.

Emboldening the last half of the verse doesn't help us think you don't believe that's what it says, either.

"If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. For this very reason, Christ died and returned to life so that he might be the Lord of both the dead and the living. You, then, why do you judge your brother or sister? Or why do you treat them with contempt? For we will all stand before God’s judgment seat". Romans 14:8-10

re only this post. good. yahweh's word is pure, and to the pure, all things are pure.

as to many other words spoken against you, don't worry (i don't think you do, btw). yahweh has said,
and it
is written,
that no one speaking against you when/as you love the truth can hurt you, and they will not prosper spiritually. it is so, and it is seen on this forum, as yahweh guards his word even here, and does as he says.

God rest the souls of those brothers who died at the hands of these evil Satanic men.

Shoebat.com has the full video of this horror to view.

The evil that is ISIS is unbelievable and their video production forewarns everyone: "“Warning: Message Signed In Blood Coming Soon To ‘Nation Of The Cross’”

If you don't love the truth, but only your erroneous interpretation of it, however ...
