Hello there. I've been up all night begging for forgiveness from our father. I was foolish enough to think I could live without him in my life and that I could live in the world without any consequences. I was embittered by a bad church experience and found myself slowly disconnecting with God because of this. I would love for people to pray for me (my name is Hannah) and ask for God to remove any blocks I have in me which prevents his Holy Spirit from residing within me. I was baptised two Decembers ago and was neglected to be prayed for to receive the Holy Spirit.

I do so want to be who God has made me to be. I need all your prayers and hopefully meet some Christian friends as I have none currently.

Im struggling with being filled daily with the Spirit daily and yeh i know even recently what its like to be in fear and guilt and be begging God for forgivenss but God is chipping away at me and transforming and slowly my mind is being renewed like I dont need to spend the whole night losing sleep worrying but when Jesus was on the Cross and dying for me he forgave me forever and by his Word I am cleansed. Another truth im reminded of is when were worrying in fear about our sins how we want to repent but cant we are in fear he doesnt accept fear he wants faith thats how we come to him in faith. Remember when you were first born again he saved you you came to him in faith well youve always got to come to God in faith otherwise he doesnt accept our prayers, fear is sin . Its ok that you are feeling guilty but then do whats right and come in faith. I know by that verse in Acts that you and I need to repent to be filled , baptised in the Holy Spirit. Thats why to be daily filled and baptised with the Spirit you and I need to repent daily every time we sin based on that verse.

Some reassuring verses :

John 3:34New International Version (NIV)

34 For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God[a] gives the Spirit without limit.

- Id like to say with that verse if the church mentioned didnt want to receive the Holy Spirit find another church who loves God a bible believing church because we fight with the Word of God the sword of the Spirit (JEsus and the Holy Spirit) when people and circumstances dont line with the Word so that verse says not only does God want you to have him but Also he gives the Spirit without limit

John 20:22
And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.

Acts 2:38
Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
 
Sometimes we have to forgive ourselves for the things God has already forgiven us.
