Mondays are hard. We could all use one more day to sleep in, catch up on life, or to just chill. But that’s not how Monday’s seem to go, they’re fast paced, and chaotic, and often times we forget to stop and take a moment to breathe. Sometimes we just need to be reminded that God has a plan, and if we are patient and wait, God will always deliver. So here are five Bible verses about patience to help you start your week off right.
- Proverbs 14:29 - A patient person shows great understanding, but a quick-tempered one promotes foolishness. (HCSB)
- Galatians 6:9 - For we must not grow tired of doing good, for we will reap at the proper time if we do not give up. (HSCB)
- Psalm 37:7 - Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes. (NIV)
- Psalm 27:14 - Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. (NIV)
- Romans 12:12 - Rejoice in hope; be patient in affliction; be persistent in prayer. (HCSB)
