I like the Pretenders' music. My favorite song of theirs is "I'll Stand By You".

Chrissie also did some vocals for "Moodfood By Moodswings" ("Aural Medication For Tired Minds"; band comprised mainly of Grant Showbiz and James Hood [who had been the Pretenders' drummer]). Moodfood is the CD title, Moodswings the band name. It is not from the 70s but extremely beautiful... The song I am thinking about (I like the whole LP) is in three parts, with one part featuring samples from Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" speech. Chrissie starts singing after the 5 minute mark, and the "I have a dream" speech comes in just after the 11:30 mark which has archival footage before and duringI like the Pretenders' music. loved the scenes from Yosemite in the video. My husband and I spent alot of time there over the years. Our favorite place to ride bikes, raft, hike (Panorama Trail was our favorite). haven't been back there since he passed. my grandkids are getting old enough to camp and they're about the only ones who'll get me back to a place so cherished by both my husband and me. share some good times with them and bring past and future together.

I am glad you enjoyed it, and how special that the featured time lapse photography of Yosemite holds memories dear to your heart. The video moves me to tears with the "I have a dream" speech. Those were the days of our youth, but for me, being so young at the time, I was unaware of much of what was going on in the world, even so close to home as the States are for the southern parts of Canada.Watched the video. Very relaxing.

I did attend at least one concert where there were four headliners: Nazareth, Blue Oyster Cult, Uriah Heep, and Wishbone Ash. It was exactly 26 years ago actually, in November of 1993. One of Nazareth's most famous songs was a cover of Joni Mitchell's This Flight Tonight
This song is from the mid 70s I have always really liked this song also, by Blue Oyster Cult, from 1976:
The Monkees were a fave of my sisters and I... we watched
the sitcom faithfully, and I had many/most of their 60's LPs
They were one of the first bands to use a Moog synthesizer
