This is a good idea. I think some folks have a sense of entitlement when it comes to expecting clean toilets in the public. Many times folks will go into a business, use their toilet, and not purchase anything.
Is it really the job of a business to hire people to keep a restroom clean for people who only want to dump in their business?
Clean public restrooms are not an entitlement. We shouldn't expect businesses to provide us with FREE use of their toilets.
Now $8 is a bit pricy. Maybe go back to a quarter to use a toilet?

NEW YORK, NY - Chances are you've probably heard some of the horror stories of using a public bathroom in New York City. Well, new posh restroom facilities are in the making, but using their toilet seats comes with a price.
FOX News' John Huddy walked around the Big Apple to explore this story. As a reporter in the field, he says it can be hard finding a clean bathroom or even a bathroom at all.
There are always public toilets, like the men's room at Penn Station in NYC if you don't mind people taking baths and washing their clothing in the sinks, he says.
With the discomfort of public restrooms in mind, Wayne Parks has created a members-only day storage
Like a clean roll of toilet paper, it's everything rolled up in one: private bathroom stalls, lockers, and even a lounge.
"It's a respite, it's a place to relax and take their load off," said Parks.
However, why would people pay $8 to use them, plus a $15 annual membership when you can pop into one of Manhattan's many bars, restaurants or hotels?
"It's not just a bathroom, it's the storage feature. It's a place to put things and lock ‘em up if you don't want to carry it. Let's say it just got warm out and you don't want to carry your jackets around," said Parks.
At around 2,500 square feet, they would bigger than some people's apartments.
"Would you ever pay eight dollars to use a bathroom right here in the city?" Huddy asks New Yorkers.
"Nope," one responded.
"What if the bathroom looked like that? A locker, a lounge area?"
"Wow that's..." some were thinking twice about their previous answer.
The eight bucks does cover a day's use from 9 a.m. To 11 p.m. It's not a done deal yet, though.
Parks is still working on getting the leases for locations near Penn Station and Grand Central Terminal.
So until these posh potties up and running, you'll just have to hold it.
