oh my yes, PR,

in this age we all have so many world-wide travesties that we can recall as we were growing up -
they each and all broke our hearts in two - but,
the worst is yet to come...

John, Chapter 15:

13) Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

So many of those First Responders died/and are still dying trying to save the lives of those caught in the horror of that day.

NEVER FORGET!

I was a child in sixth grade. Our teachers had the news running and one image out of many still hurts to think about. But when looking at those towers and seeing objects drop from them and as the camera or photographer zoomed in, you could see those objects was people jumping from the towers.

My mind couldn't understand as I fear heights why they would be jumping and imagining the last thoughts they had. As more info came out and my parents had to explain to me the concept of evil, I understood the death behind them was worse than the death in front of them.

I will never forget that but also will never forget the love that united the country. Always sad though that it takes a common enemy for people to unite.

Remember that day like it was yesterday. My wife and I were both off work that day. I always get up before her. Was watching the news when the first plane hit. Then the second plane hit and I remember Tom Brokaw saying "America is under attack." If he said that today, 18 years later, he would get fired. Because you can't blame Islamic terrorism on the people, and the ideology that perpetrate it in 2019.

After the second plane hit, I woke my wife up to explain what was happening. The Twin Towers were burning. I remember telling my wife I hoped the people inside the buildings were doing their best to get everyone out, as well as the first responders because I knew the severity of the fire would collapse the buildings at some point.

It was a horrible day. But not nearly as horrible as the state of the country in 2019 when we can't place blame squarely on the religion that caused the tragedy, Islam. The New York Times reported yesterday, that "planes" brought down the Twin Towers, not Islamic terrorists. The Left can't assess blame on the right people because Islam is in their Special Victims Group.

Twitter was in full steam yesterday censoring people who included Islamic references. Even to say radical islamic extremists got my neighbor blocked.

Oh, I can imagine. Twitter hates a lot of things and it openly censors people who says something against their "policies." You can advocate all kinds of immoral behavior on Twitter, but don't condemn Islam or it's The Hammer for you.

For all the fallen First Responders who gave ALL that day!

god-and-the-soldier.jpg

Since that day, regardless of what the radical, socialist, extremists liberals think, our Nation has been at war against an evil that is dead set on destroying not only our way of life, but all Citizens of this Nation.

The enemy is Radical Islamic Extremists Ideology, and the evil minions who perpetuate it's beliefs.

I’ll never forget but I can’t revisit it anymore. It took me too long to overcome my anger and deep seeded hatred.

Hard to believe it's been 18 years. It shattered many childhood illusions.

IDK brother, there is such a thing as righteous indignation. And each year I watch the programs remembering the day. Each year I post a memorial on my FB page to Benghazi and then 9/11. And I am still righteously indignant.

Amen, sister. You’re definitely stronger than I am in that regard and I say that with the utmost respect and admiration. I’m still waiting for the “shock and awe” that was never delivered. It took me a long time to quell my anger, but it still lingers.
