Being a Christian doesn't mean that you're perfect. We can try our best to act perfect, but we aren't fooling anybody. Yes, we may have all the riches of the world. But what's the use of gaining the whole world, when in the end, we're going to lose our soul? The truth is, a Christian is someone that comes before God, as humble as can be, knowing that nothing they do can ever please God. They come before Him, a sinner and they know that their works and all of their deeds, can't save them. They come before God, bringing Christ, because they know that in and only through Jesus, they can be made clean, holy, sanctified, made upright, sinless and righteous. Though the fact that they still sin is made known to them, they choose to walk uprightly with God. They choose to let the Holy Spirit reign in their hearts. They choose Jesus Christ as their personal savior. They know that no amount of works and deeds can wash away their sinful nature. But they know that only the blood of Christ can. They do not feel condemned anymore. Because they know that when Christ was baptized, He took all their sin on Him. They know that He became their sin bearer. They know that He died on the cross, once and for all. No do-overs. Then and there were they cut off from their old nature. They were baptized into His death. And they resurrected with Him. And they know that God no longer remembers their sin. They choose this faith. They choose this truth. Even when the world is against them, they choose to walk with God, because they know that God is always with them. This is what you call a Christian. A Christian, is not afraid of the gospel. Are you one today?
