I know a man who preaches the gospel. I've never been able to pick out anything wrong in what he preaches and it is all God-centered. People truly take notice when he talks. They'll even follow him around to hear more from him.

His siblings have come to notice, and someone talked to his brother about this guy going to Sukkot in Jerusalem and speak there. He has the gift and people would hear him. But he refused.

His siblings are quite upset about this. What do you think he should do? I mean really? He has a platform at the Feast of the Tabernacles in Jerusalem.
 All he has to do is go. If he went, many would hear the gospel.

Did he refuse out-of-hand, or did he pray about it? Maybe he has private reasons for not going. I don't think I even have enough information to answer that question.

When his brothers asked, he said no. He also said they were of the world.

Jesus said real families are formed by those who do the will of the Lord.

I don't know the far reaching implications of his idea though.
