:)To grasp the Power, Might and Holiness of God...to even get a glimpse of the majesty of our God. :D
(psalms 99:5) Exalt ye the Lord our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy.
(psalms 99:9) Exalt the Lord our God, and worship at his holy hill; for the Lord our God is holy.
(rev. 4:8) And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.
(psalms 47:8 God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.
(psalms 48:1) Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness.
(psalms 150:1) Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.
(mark 12:24) And Jesus answering said unto them, Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the scriptures, neither the power of God?
(luke 22:69 ) Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God.
Gods is all, and in all, above all...Mighty is our God, He loves us so.....love in Christ Sherril....:)

Great verses! This is pretty much confidential, but, as a child I experienced a "glimpse of the Majesty of our God," when Jesus passed by-- it was during Christmas, and an amazing, unforgettable experience. I felt the presence of the power of God's love, and was overcome by a desire to immediately arise and follow Him absolutely anywhere, with no fear of anything I might have to face. It was an experience of a spiritual realm where you would be willing to face anything to be there...

Thank-you for posting this, because, it just seems to slip away, even though I mentioned it to a pastor today, and so, I'm going to write it down and carry it with me through the Christmas season and so I can be ready to face anything, and if my mind or heart wavers, which seems to be almost everyday, I will read this memory and believe that God is with me, no matter how weak we may feel as "treasures in earthen vessels," as Paul said.
