Lord,
I read your your word, placed in my hands. You command that we spread your truth across the sands. There a since of urge to tell all who will hear but they turn away and this is my fear. I will speak of with no stopping for I'm not a quitter but like the ocean they flow with bitter. I speak your name on this sandy ground, even through these waves from all around. They push and pull with great might but I stand firm like the tower and you as my light. Shining to those to guide them ashore I hand them your word a map to explore. But no ship in sight, like seagulls they leap and then they take flight. I'll travel the beach to see who I'll find and pray for them and all of mankind. I stand in the water and scan with a scope. I yell "will you hear me" all I hear is a "nope". I see the laughter I hear their fun, can help even just one? I feel the water watching the tide, even when it's low it's still very high. I the ocean is getting worse ever day, the waves must drown my voice because they don't listen to what I say. As I feel the water on every toe, I see your promise with your beautiful bow. The water is high as it surrounds but a bow is a promise that I should never drown. You are my lord king of kings, I will spread your word and a hymn I will sing. In all the shores I look at the towers light for it is so strong and it is so bright. Lord I pray the ships will come in, turning from waves turning from sin. You call for them as they stand at port, heading to destruction I pray they abort. Use me now to help make the call before they sink before they fall. You are the way the truth and the life and you lord as the waves crash you are my lifesaver.
Heavenly father
As we go out and witness to others as you commanded and because we love you, lord it is hard to find others that want to hear about your grace. How you love us so much that you gave us your son. Lord I pray that people's hearts would be softened and they would open their ears turning to you. Lord people are laughing and mocking us, but you have said these times will come. Lord I pray for them, I pray for the lost. Maybe lord one more will come to you, and one more after. I pray we as your church never loose hope and never stop spreading your word. Lord please help us to have your strength and courage to stand for you and continue to share the gospel of Jesus our lord and Savior. I pray we glorify you lord. I thank you lord and I love you. I pray for the lost and your church in jesus's name
