Just received another update. Apparently the baby developed another infection that has gotten into her lungs. They are hoping that it will clear enough for the doctors to be able to put another Trach in on Thurs.
 
Continueing to pray for this sweet baby in Jesus Chist is Lord.

Latest update. Just recieved word that she is not ventilating. And yesterday, she was having problems as well. So she is still in this battle. Just pray for the doctors for wisdom and the parents for the support they need and that they will continue to cling to God.
 
Latest update

Siena hasn't been ventilating all day and is very sick again. We are giving her sedation to keep her comfortable. The drs told us today they have pretty much done all they can- her lungs are just very sick. We are hanging in there with both of our parents on their way up for support.

Update For Sienna, Mon. July 11th (Decision Made By Parents)Note Msg. by friend who's closer to the family:
I just got word that they are taking baby Sienna off of life support at 5pm today. She was born a preemie in December at 13 oz. and has been a true fighter. However, her lungs are very sick and there is nothing else the doctors can do for her… Please lift this whole family up to the Lord as they are grieving already in this very difficult decision and the results of the decision… Sienna will be fully whole as she goes to be with Jesus…

Is the baby dead?
 
Not sure. It's been 2 hours at least since they have supposedly officially taken her off of life support.
 
With heart and tears I pray Lord Jesus may all that is God Our Father's will be given to this sweet baby and her family.
We thankyou Father , Lord Jesus for all that is Your loving and perfect care.

Let's pray that the life support of Jesus Christ will revive the child. May the Lord put breathe into the body. Amen!
 
I did find out that the baby did die at a little before 6:30 PM yesterday. Just keep the family in prayer as they are grieving. Yet they know they have they will see her again in Heaven one day.

It's not past the Lord to resurrect a baby even after dying. They thought Lazarus was dead, even saying they knew they would see him at resurrection, but Jesus made it clear that that same power at resurrection is available today. I do hope for it.
