If heaven is a place of happiness, joy and love (Pleasure) and hell is a place of torture, suffering and separation from love (Pain)

Do you think that what christians seek is the same as what they say the worlds seeks, however christian hope they will receive (Pleasure) later.

Well, no not really. The 'christian' seeks the face of God, to know Him the One who created us. I wouldn't say the ultimate goal is to be in a place of happiness, joy and love but to be with God, to be able to see His face, the One who IS love. Also, heaven is not the end goal, the new earth is when all will be renewed and those who have attained eternal life in Jesus will live in the age to come.
The world on the other hand, on a general term in our society, seeks to please themselves and live 'as comfortably as possible' with the deception only if they had enough money, everything would be better. Not speaking for all people of course but from observation, a large amount.

I think Christians, and everyone else, seek to avoid negative mental states and increase positive ones... the most positive mental state, imo, is joy... which is available in this life...

I think you spend too much time with atheist and now you are starting to sound like one :)

I read a great deal of sense in your words when you compare the idea of just being with God "as the goal" but why did God create heaven so that it can be seen as an incentive as well.

Heaven was never created as an incentive, we were never created to be separated from God, but as a result of sin we are. We cannot go to God on our own accord and we need salvation from somewhere. Yeshua is Salvation. This is what we call the gospel and that is the "incentive" as you would like to see it, to be reunited with Yeshua the Messiah.

Is it selfish to choose something to avoid suffering?

But can it be seen as incentive.

Christianity is about following Christ!

Christians follow Jesus because they love Him!

Christians follow Jesus because they trust Him!

Christians follow Jesus because they want to be with Him!

Christians follow Jesus because they recognize His voice!

Christians follow Jesus because He cares about His people!

If Christianity is just about following Christ, why do so many christians keep reminding me of heaven(Pleasure) and hell (Pain) if neither of these two factors are any incentive?

The Kingdom of God is certainly a powerful vision of a better world where Christ will be the King of peace and justice. Once again, you follow Christ because you want to be with Christ!

Why did you disregard my question, was it because you didn't understand it or for some other reason.
