With regard to this new 'biblia.com' feature that recognizes biblical verse references - is there a way for each member to choose what bible version is used in the pop-ups? Could the 'Bible Version Preference' setting perhaps be used to set it?

It may be possible Gary but i don't know.
Only the Admin who has access to the addon may be able to say what features are available.

Thank you - but, did you confuse 'Suggestions' and 'User2User Tech Support'? (just teasing you)

Every thread in this forum is directed to the site staff - @RoboOp and @Oncefallen in particular.

I started this thread in the hopes that they will look into it to see if it can be done... :unsure:

Especially since that is what the 'Bible Version Preference' setting is all about. :geek:

@GaryA it was originally for the chat rooms (so shared Bible verses would always display in your preferred Bible version). But that's a great idea, to apply the same setting to the linked Bible references here in the forum.

Took me some time today to get it working, but it's now all done!

Since I have to make changes to the Bible version values in the drop down list, you may have to set it again. (Hopefully your preferred translation is in the list.)

Anyone who wants to set it, just go to:


And look for "Bible Version Preference".
