Before I started writing a novel, I used to keep a blog of stories from the viewpoint of my stuffed animals. And, to make it interesting, I'd take pictures to tell the story.

I haven't done it for a few years, and the blog updated enough that I couldn't do that anymore, so I want to share such a story on here instead. No big philosophic point to it. Just fun. (Oh, and since we can only post 6 photos per post, I will be finishing the story as a reply to this one, so give me time to finish first.)

This story is by two-inch tall Leia, one of two stuffed rabbits I have "in the family." Her aunt is the other rabbit, and Chief Garden Gal. (The female stuffies think they have full control over the garden, and Valentine elected herself the boss because she's a rabbit and rabbits love gardens.)

Aunt Val was busy, so she asked me to check on our carrots. Good thing, because look what I found.

A caterpillar on OUR carrots! They're nice enough not to eat the good parts, but eating the leaves kills the good parts, so drastic measures were required.

I picked two off and threw them in water to drown.

Then I had to make sure the carrots were okay.

I couldn't pull them out by myself, so my two cousins helped.

The polar bear in the garden hat is Tine, Aunt Valentine's daughter, and the huge dog... (oops, she says she's not huge, she's tall), the tall dog is Dee.

Once we loosened them, we pulled them down.

The gnome and Hide 'N Seek Bear froze. Something about me being scary, but I didn't get it. Have to save the carrots. Now!

And since my cousins were out here, they wanted to do some other things in the garden. Boring stuff like pick grape tomatoes that don't even taste like grapes, and pick a pretty bouquet for our moms and Grandma. Grandma's the crazy lady who helps me write this important update. I protected the carrots while they were gone, but this is us for our garden harvest this day.

And that's my rabbit's tale. Got to go, time to eat the carrots.

as the bottoms of carrots...
