By a derelict and disgraced ex engineer.

I have been praying for a very long time that Jesus will release the burdens of my past and present situation from my shoulders.

Tossed by the waves of an emotional storm without any direction or calm in sight.
All my dreams and passions buried in oblivion.
Drifting through a bleak existence as a house built on sand.
Tranquility and serenity I know no more, apathy and melancholy crush me as dust blown away by the wind.
Despising my aging earthly body.
Indeed my human knowledge is vanity, swiftly fading away, as God leads me to humbleness.
On an endless quest for answers about my purpose in life.
Chained by my flesh and fears keeping me from following God's will.
My mind and body wearied by the spiritual battle to seek some fulfillment.

I am exhausted Lord Jesus, keep me from being consumed in the darkest pit of despair.
Release me Lord Jesus from the bondage of bitterness and pride.
I am insignificant in the eyes of the world and yet worth to God and created in His image.

Thank you Jesus for Your perfect sacrifice enduring the suffering of the cross out of love for a mankind that does not deserve Your forgiveness and cannot earn salvation by works.
Thank you Jesus for defeating death with Your resurrection and the gift of eternal life for those who have faith in You.
Thank you Jesus for adopting me and tenderly cuddling me as a Perfect Father caring for a helpless baby, even if I am a broken sinner.
Thank you Jesus for being my perfect counselor and guiding me when I cry for help.
Thank you Jesus for your mercy delivering the creation from the fall to the New Earth, making a home for me and wiping away the all tears from my eyes.
Thank you Jesus for my sweet wife and for my children, family and friends and all those who love me.
Thank you Jesus for making a way for me by turning the impossible into hope and miracles.
Help me Jesus to stay connected to You, my only Source of life, to feel Your Presence, to listen before talking.
Please Jesus, give me the superhuman courage, strength and knowledge to be a leading man for my family even if I feel weak and struggle to understand.
Please Jesus, send me the will and strength to follow You protecting me from my selfishness and fleshly desires, helping me to use my free will and emotions for Your good works, help me to be grateful that You always provide all that I need.
Father Jesus, help me to accept my mortal aging body as is.
Lord Jesus I am so thirsty for joy, please bring me the everlasting happiness of Your Living Water.

May everyone trust the Lord Jesus with their lives because of His infinite love ,wisdom, patience, faithfulness and power to deliver you.

When I am given roses, I typically kept them on display throughout and beyond this condition.

Many would think that this rose looks sad, tired, and worn and would be remiss to present it to anyone. I mean, who'd appreciate it? They might even be insulted if you tried to give this rose to someone, and some might say that it looks sad, but at no point does it ever cease to be a rose given to me.

Man's love is fickle, but at no time are any of us any less than you ever were in God's regard. And perhaps it is even at our worst that love shows shines most brilliantly.

As this beautiful prayer and accompanying poem has revealed.
