What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death? Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord!
Romans 7:24-25
Dear Lord,
I know you see me and I know you know what is in my heart... you know how I grieve that I am weak.. You know what a wretched person I am... forgive me for beinga hypocrite.. for trying to appear good and sensible and God to all my brethren so that I will be accepted and looked up as a woman of God when I know inside me is a desire to please and exalt myself... Lord how I long to do good but I am like this... everyday I call to you asking for your grace for strength to follow you.. for grace to do good and honor you... I fail many times Lord.. any the many times I just realize how filthy and wretched a person I am... Lord I want to do your will... please help me Lord.. Forgive for my sins and I trust in your mercy and grace in the blood of my Lord Jesus Christ... Lord I want to honor you Lord please please change me from the person I am... let me be a light and salt for your kingdom.. may your name be glorified in my life and in what I do... forgive Lord... Lord guide me as what you have promised in Psalm 32:8... cleanse my motives and ambitions.. may I aspire for you and you alone.. may I not follow after the things that becomes my idol and take your place... Lead me in the paths of your righteousness.. lead my beside quiet waters and restore my soul... create in me a pure heart oh Lord... and the joy of your salvation always fill my heart... your name be praised forever my Father.. in the name of my Lord Jesus Christ I ask this and pray.. amen
