What is the value of one soul? Whether that soul has sinned a lot, head deep into sin?
What is the value of the soul of an unbeliever and that of the believer?

And when we communion with believers or when we talk with believers? Is not the very foundation of that communion or talk be that we both make it to heaven and not only I alone.?.

Do we exercise Love to those we get along to, or even to those who we dont and are constantly on our throats choking our life source? do we smile when they put their hands on our throats and call to GOD to show mercy or avenge us?

How is our relationship with the Pharisees, heretics, un-believers suppose to be? ie when the Lord gives us a chance to be around them or to talk with them, What is it that governs our conversation? Winning that soul over to Christ that he/she may have a right relationship with HIM or proving that where i stand is right?

I have seen the Lord use Drunkards, and a prostitute(Rahab) to save His people, what do we see when see people? trees or souls value able to GOD?
Do we understand and get along with their weakness, praying and fasting together with them so they may be delivered or do we preach and wash our hands?

The Lord warned the pharisees telling them that they put a load on the peoples back and they do not carry even ONE BIT, are we not doing this when we place such HIGH standards for our fellow believers when we ourselves are not by an inch or a even small step doing what we say?

So many ways we can lose one soul, and if we can not value ONE SOUL, how can we even stand on the pulpit and preach to a dozen, a hundred and even a million? ..

ONE SOUL, and the one we talk to around here, the one we argue with, the one with talk ill about, the one we show kindness to, the one we grow bitter towards, That one soul whether a satanist or a necromancer or a witch, the LORD died for and wants to save. That one soul, a believer who has fallen, or back slidden the Lord still wants to raise up and heal his/her back sliding. Let us not be stumbling blocks for these people cause trust this, the Lord is good at taking away stumbling blocks..

And one Law make sure we do not be so, is LOVE.
 
The value of one soul was that God decided to give His only Son to be tortured and killed in a most painful manner and His Son chose to give it on His own freely, whether we decide to accept the gift resulting from His suffering and death or not.

Seems pretty valuable. He didn't do that for the angels or anything else.
 
Indeed brother, and how treat others shows how much we value what the Lord did for them on cross, is that not right?
 
Not sure I understand the end of your statement. I think how we treat others shows how much we value ourselves and how much we value our own salvation. I think it also shows how much we believe and have faith in God. I think it shows many things.

I'm not disagreeing. I'm just not sure I understand your statement.
 
Well when we treat someone with Love, it shows we are doing what the Lord did for them. ie we appreciate and respect the Lords work, and having HIS heart, we do what HE would have done in our situation..... and that is to LOVE!!..
 
Well I don't know, but I worked with a guy and he was smart. But everyone called him troll because he slept under a bridge and I worked hard to point him to christ. I didn't see him for some a couple of years. Then I ran into him at a job sight and asked him about his relationship with God. He gave me some foul language, I asked him why. this is no joke. He said he was going to a baptist church in Alabama and he loved the church and wanted to join. They asked him for a financial statement and told him that he did make enough money to be a member. May God have mercy on those people.

Ok, so Jesus rebuking and castigating the scribes and Pharisees with 'Woe unto you' for a chapter or so is considered 'love', I'm on board.
 
Jesus' love never lead him to despise people. It certainly did lead him to rebuke people.
 
Scripture asks the question what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? This after Gods word asks what shall it profit a man if he should gain the whole world and lose his own soul. Again there is rejoicing in heaven over a single soul coming to a saving knowledge of Christ.

We have mind, emotions, will and dreams, too. Anthropological divisions are not so clear that we can make a theological system out of them. The bible definitely uses "soul" to refer to "the whole person". James 1:20 et. al.

He that the Lord loves He chastens..
And if we are not rebuked then i suppose we are either ready or those around us do not love us..

Heb 13:1 Let brotherly love continue.
Heb 13:2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

And sadly, pray that i do not repeat it, i guess i have done this in the past.

Am reminded of how Abraham invited the angels that went to destroy Sodom n Gomorrah with such awesome corteousy, respect and kindness, if he did not i do not think he would have had the courage to ask what he asked about Sodom n Gomorrah..

Ai, we indeed should be instant in season and out of season, to be always READY through deeds that glorify GOD, who knows we might get a visitation from the Lord HIMSELF, when HE says "I have decided to come and eat with you today"... hallelujah..
