The Light was Jesus (John 8:12) Can two walk together, except they be agreed? (Amos 3:3) thus the division of light (intelligence or God) and darkness (ignorance or anti-god)?
 
In Commentary on The 1st Beginning Chapter of Adam and Eve's Story:

Right from the beginning, God gives "Light" on Day 1 to shine out darkness (Which parallels John chapter 1) and in Man's formation he brings that which is dead (dirt, dust, mud, etc.) and gives it "Life" by breathing the "Breathe of Life" into man's nostrils. For we breathe air so as to have life; And Jesus said the Spirit is like the wind, that blows wherever it wishes (John 3:8). Man was meant to be brought to "Life" (Spiritually) by God (With a spiritual regeneration) and to have the Spirit of God living within him or her (If they repent of their sins and accept the Lord as their Savior (i.e. Jesus Christ)).

God gives Adam the freedom and liberty to eat any tree in the garden except the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Having this knowledge would mean that Adam would be like God, knowing good and evil. Such a choice to disobey God in eating of this tree would mean that Adam was trying to be his own god instead of having right fellowship with God.

While God brought animals to Noah and his family so as to start a new world with them, God brought animals to Adam so as that Adam can name them and to understand the importance of having a true union or fellowship. This is why God creates woman out of one of Adam's ribs. God creates a woman out of his flesh Adam so that they can be joined together (Like the rib re-uniting back in Adam symbolically). He is to be united as one flesh with her just as man is to be one with God. Man shall leave father and mother and shall cleave unto their wife, just as the man of God shall leave those of this world so as to cleave unto God. For Adam and Eve did not have human parents. They were not born into this world by humans but by the power of God directly. Their father was God the Father. Adam was a son of God. For he was directly created by God. Adam being a "son of God" was a type or like figure that points us to the "True Son of God" (Jesus Christ) that seeks to save us from our sins. For it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. (1 Corinthians 15:45).

1 John 4:16 says it best: God is love. He that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God and God in him. God is a spirit and that spirit is love, therefore creation is a love story!

Thank you for your comment on this. I never would have considered that before. I always thought of the water in the beginning as the Word of God (And still do) because Christ sanctifies the church with the washing of the water of the Word (Ephesians 5:25-26) and because we are saved by the washing of regeneration by the Holy Ghost (Titus 3:5), which comes when we hear the Word of God (Romans 10:17). The KJV says, "hovered" over the face of the waters. I always thought that God was not brooding over the waters because it makes it sound like he is sad when he was about to make the creation. Maybe that is not the intention of the word and how it is used by some, but I see Him as hovering over the water in happiness right before He created all things.

However, I do like how you pointed out how the waters represent people in Revelation and connected that to the beginning within Genesis. There might be something to this. Christ told us to abide in Him and to abide in His Word. It's possible that the water could be double symbolic (Representing His Word and people). In other words, the water could represent the "Communicated Word of God" abiding in people's hearts and lives with Him being King (hovering) above them and yet also living in them (As the Living Word).

Edit: Sorry, I meant to say the KJV says, "moved" and not "hovered" upon the face of the waters in Genesis. My bad. Sorry about that. But the idea of "hovering" is implied in the text, though.

(Mark 8:24) I see men as trees, walking. I believe that the trees were peoples and the fruit were their works (Luke 3:9)
(Matt. 7:16), which brought forth fruit good to the eyes but it wasn't good to eat (Matt. 3:10) (Matt. 21:43) (Matt. 23:27).

Remember Adam and Eve were brought into the Garden, to dress it and to keep it (Gen. 2:15), they weren't made there (Gen. 3:23).

I agree 100%. I wrote the follow below a while back (with a couple of new updated changes).

God's Loving Desire is You.

God is love and He desires to have a loving relationship with us. In fact, there is nothing more important in this life than experiencing this very truth for yourself. For there is no other love or relationship that will satisfy you more than having a loving walk with the Lord. This is what the Bible or God's love letter to man is all about.

God Lovingly Prepares All Things.

In the beginning, God created all things to be with mankind (i.e. you and me). Like a person who is lovingly engaged and prepares all things to be married with the one they love, each day of creation was like a build up or a preparation for God to be married with man. God dresses creation with light, for man to be guided into the Lord's loving arms. Behind the wedding veil of the physical heavens of the sky and outer space, and even Heaven itself is the Heaven of knowing the love of Jesus Christ. For the Lord has brought forth the Rock out of the water just as a man has brought forth a rock (diamond) out as an engagement to the one he loves. God brought forth fruit for man to enjoy and live just as we are to abide in enjoy and live by the fruits of the Spirit. God created the sun, the moon, and the stars for seasons of change so that man could value that the Lord's love never changes. God brings forth marine life to let us know that we need to swim in his love (spreading it unto others) and He brings forth birds to let us know that our love for God is like wings that will one day soar high up into Heaven to be married to God one day. For God brings forth animal life and joins together man and woman as a lesson in life that God's companionship pales in comparison to any other relationship. God stops from all of His work and creates a special day of rest for man so that he can understand that true loving rest and comfort comes only from the Lord. This is the loving story of creation and it shines forth it's love signals to guide us into the joyous celebration of being married to the One who is the very embodiment of love itself.
 
Brooding is more like a chicken hatching a plan, just so happened that this was dark water or ignorant people covering up the earth sort of like the earth was in bondage and needed a Savior. One of the reasons why the black race got such a bad rap because religious leaders associate darkness with evil, badness, accursed and ignorance, but God says not to look at the outside (1 Samuel 16: 7) (Matt. 13:15) (Mark 16:14). Perhaps it was all in the plan.

Well, while it is true that there is a zoological meaning to the word "brooding" which involves the cessation of laying on the eggs (to incubate them).

brooding (zoology) -- Encyclopedia Britannica

The modern understanding of the word "brood" can confuse people, though; For it can paint a different picture (Unless of course it is explained to them).

Thank you for the verse. After thinking upon it, it makes me think that God's flowing long robe is long enough to cover us.

Isaiah 61:10
"I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels."

This actually ties into an upcoming chapter of Adam and Eve's story.
 
I want to study the scriptures and the stories of the Bible because of (Luke 6:40) (Mark 9:38). We are not supposed to be powerless (Matt. 9:8) (Matt:10:1) (Matt. 6:9) (2 Timothy 2:15)

Job 26:7-9 “He spreads out the northern skies over empty space; he suspends the earth over nothing. He wraps up the waters in his clouds, yet the clouds do not burst under their weight. He covers the face of the full moon, spreading his clouds over it.”
 
Actually Adam was formed from the dust of the ground (Gen. 2:7) it wasn't until God breathed into his nostrils the breath of life did he become a living soul. The same thing we do now when we bring someone back from the dead. Also God said dust you were and dust you shall return, essentially he was saying you were dead once and you shall die again.
