Warriors! The decision is no concern of mine and I understand that there should not be any discussions because it is the individuals decision to get a tattoo or not get a tattoo. Did you know that you are in the military? The Creator gives us armor and weapons of war to us that we might train with them having the armor on properly. If you had to describe the military, what one word would sum it up? Have you ever thought about that? We concern ourselves with irrelevant affairs instead of looking to the One who has called us. Timothy2:4 says: "No one serving as a soldier gets entangled in civilian affairs, but rather tries to please his commanding officer who has enlisted them!" Anyone serve in the military that is on this thread? If so, DM me. I would love to hear your take on being armored up or just reply! That works too! Hahaha! Thanx! Cya!
What individualistic decisions do you think you are allowed to make in the army? You clearly know nothing of the chain-of-ommand, nor the officers class. Yet even with this pathetic attempt to get people to DM them instead of play out here in the open, somehow, someway, the high command knows almost with a bored sigh, how a lot of fools will fall for it. Don't get that tattoo, it is a sin that you must repent tearfully or painfully out of, and the modalist heresy will get you sent to tthe hellfrie automatically in the name of Jesus, amen.

I was in the Navy during the First gulf war. I went into the military with 6 years on the wild side... after 5 years in the Navy i discvered that probably 75% of my anti-government attitude was wrong. As for the tattoos there is no evidence in the bible it is a sin. In the mosaic law it was commanded not to but that was to Israel and not to gentiles, to set them apart from the other nations. The New covenant makes no mentions of it whatsoever. It isnt a sin and no proof exists that it is.

Those are langauges, tongues and interpretation of tongues, not trying to make the verse say what it does not clearly say. Be smarter, It helps if you actually read it fully, like read it like its any other big book. You ever try that yet? You ever tell yourself I'm just gonna read the Bible from cover-to-cover and believe it at least for the story itself? I did that first time I read it fully. Emphasis on first, it's been a minute since then and so many read through binding all the words to the tables of the heart and the mind. I can tell obviously you people either outright have not read it, don't believe it, or know it's true and are so evil you think you fight God and wrest authority from man, and you'll lose just like the Bible says, praise Jesus.
The English translations (KJV, ESV, NASB and a few otrhers) are good enough to convey Gods word to the masses. No Hebrew or Greek is needed to have a full Christian life. TGhis is a lie from hell that tells you you need to understand hebrew o greek to really get it. There are some cultural nuances, but the entirety of Christ message is found int he english translations. Nothing is really lost besides some cultural background.

Yes indeed you have said this before and I remember because I am good at reading. Good so you know how strict the rules are and how if you break the rules a lot you're furhter down the chain or probably just an enemy agent. Music though indeed is a strong power in Discernment of the spirits and also exorcism. You could consider how easy it be to marry the gifts with the music, way better than a tattoo of a really stupid mark, not the dumbest, the 666 one holds that tile, but still you know pretty far up there not gonna lie this is I see your mad genius in it, but if you do it the way that the joke will be on you is a way you won't find funny. If you don't do it though and get thepiphany much potential already for those real powerful gifts. Think about it you want a tattoo so a coroner basically wonders about your life, but he won't, but then if you could learn how to exorcize tattoos or even get stronger than that, would't that be more worthy and legendary song for a Revelation 14 saint to sing for the rest of all of eternity?

Leviticus is still in the Bible by the way you err in trying to discard it and teach other people the same, it's not like eating pork where the penalty is to take a shower because your a pigeating metalhead,, the Law still matters according to Jesus and the Apostles. You're just not saved by it and you don't neccesarily have to draw the full punishment (in this case death penalty for witchcraft or the equivalence in penance). Keep thinking about it, don't do it, praise Jesus

I agree and have read them too. Controversially I even would accept the NIV though many people hate it, even RSV as well. Praise Jesus.

You say there's no interpretation of the bible, it is as written. I point out that it was written in languages you don't understand and whatever bible you've read had to be interpreted to be translated. I'm denying your claim to read the bible as it is written without interpretation. I'm sure the translators did an expert job and am greatful for their work. But we can't claim to understand the bible completely as it was written , there's linguistic and cultural factors that have to be considered.
you need to be more technical ... there is interpretation and there is also understanding. a statement such as "The tree grows" isnt an interpreted statement. Most translations are direct word for word except wher there is ambiguity. Therefore there is very little that is open to self interpretation as we know what the original autographs say in 99% of the text. Where things go wrong is translations such as the NLT or other paraphrasing bibles. What is important in the text of the bible is the understanding of the text. Such as "The Tree Grows... (thus I should also Grow.") this isn't buried or hidden in the text of the bible, it's within the readers ability to comprehend and largely based on spiritual insight. Which, if accurate will match many other Christians who have been given the ability to see.

The bible isnt a mystery, its very simple. Complexity comes from competing theologies.

I understand that a lot of people beleive that where the new testament is silent, it carries forward the old testment.... This is bad theology because clearly the mosaic law never was binding on gentiles and never will be. At best one can say , permanently marking ones body isn't the smartest idea, but no one can claim its a sin. The new testament never approches the subject. As paul says, all things are permissable, but not all things are edifiable. I will grant that tattoos are not spiritually edifiable.

RSV sure... Niv ... not so sure,..,.,
As a translation NIV works, but obviously people don't liek that it removes part of Mark on stupid technicality. Actualyl of translations even soem of the heretics translations are in a super dumbed down semantic gnat-straining way correct, but then all the translations are also quibbled over. KJV is the best really, not just the flow, but really older mode of English = greater surety, it's a linguistic anchor and was composed with a lot of authority and legitimate research, while we are not a KJV ONlyist it is my preference and it is besides bias and preference, indeed the most legitimate of all English translations of ltierally all time and it always will be, praise Jesus

The NT isn't silent though on this subject. You know the mark of the beast? Surely you have listened to Iron Maiden?

Also the hardcore sins, like adulteries/whoredoms/sexual sins, witchcrafts, paganism, all that is very much still forbidden, those are the highest sins in the Law, worthy of death and not just worthy of death but for the express purpose that the generations and land and people don't fall into corruption against God. Along with eating the blood, but I'm hoping you smoke and barbecue the pork first.

Hahaha! My friend you are being judgmental now aren't you. I have two tattoos, one on each arm and I got them in Southeast Asia in 1972. I got them according to the protocol of the Air Force so don't give me your "individualistic" type rhetoric! Apparently you don't know the military protocol of allowing an individual to be an individual within the structure of the regulations, so why don't you just keep your opinions to yourself until you learn what the regs say?

I can play The Number of the Beast .. one of my favorite songs... however the tattoo not equal to the mark. even if the mark was a tattoo it doesn't implicate tattoos in general as evil. two separate things. The Mark ( some type of indicator of loyalty to Satan), Tattoo of Heart with an arrow through it with MOM in the middle. ... Harldy a sign of loyalty to Satan. Context and intent is important.

Yes and those prohibitions are repeated in the new testament. Yes smoked ribs for 6 hours usually. heh

Ah then repent of the tattoos, exorcisize them or cut them off, and get no more. You'll serve under legion if he cancels his tattoo idea. There's One God in three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Do you fully understand and affirm the oath of service, the Athanasian Creed?

You already said yourself you know it is a mark and spiritual too. It's not good spiritual either, it's witchcraft. It's really ownership. It's the tension of opposites with rebellion and stubbornness being as witchcraft and idolatry like Samuel said. You think you're being a rebel but you're being branded by your owner, in this case ironically the heretical jews......

So what you are telling me is that God can't forgive past mistakes until we acknowledge the thing we did. Are you really that self righteous? Just asking? Hahaha!

Well, the fact is that while what your are saying may be the case, it isnt provable. The bible does not forbid a new testament christian from getting a tattoo. if it were that serious of an offense, we would see it condemned in the new testament like adultry, murder etc.... Same is true for Keeping the Sabbath. It simply isn't enforced in the new testament. Though Ill grant it may be a good idea.

God can forgive it. But then why would you test him or then spit in his face and do it again? What's your comment abotu the One mean? You affirm the Athanasian Creed yes and have not fallen for the doctrine of the Oneness demons yet right/
