Another written set of truths...

Jesus called the self righteous Pharisees white washed coffins filled with the bones of dead men, he also called them hypocrites and blind leaders of the blind....stiff but true!
 
More eternal truth that we can agree on.....

Jesus said....It has been written an eye for an eye...But I say unto you...Love your enemies and do good unto them......THIS is hard for us to do, but shows how we can rise above our own human nature to do those things which are biblical!

Since we all believe Mary was the mother of Jesus that makes her the mother of god
 
My lines (I haven´t read all that was said above).

We al are sinners
We all need the same salvation other sinners need.
We can be somewhere wrong (being so, we could also say things or our beliefs wrong).
The only truth I believed is God (I´m all wronged)

Beside all that (which seemed spiritual) I can say I´m hapy for the life I was given, the one I live, and I´m thankful I have a year hanging aroond CC. :P
 
One of my favorite verses reminded to me by my good friend soulweaver...

Psalm 46:1 "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."

(I think I mentioned this verse before, but never gets old)

if all men are sinners .....then he called all.....but only those that believe ...received the promise... Galatians 3:22
But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.

if I am saved from sins ....called to be a saint ....and a servant of righteousness...why call me a sinner....if you call me a sinner and God made me his son....did God make me a sinner?...this is a thread to show what we agree upon....confirmed truths of God ...is it not?....here are the truths....

Exactly. I think this may be the ONLY thread we have had so much agreement on.
 
More universal truths that we can glean and believe....

Jude said that we should earnestly contend for the faith that was once delivered unto the saints......!
 
Jesus also said, "Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy." <-----seems a lot of people miss the boat on this one.
 
Paul also said, "Forget the past and move on." Seem many will live in the past and bring baggage from the past into the present which causes more difficulties than what it is worth.
 
The bible teaches that LOVE is KIND, love is a spiritual gift, love is also a commandment, love overlooks sin and shortcomings, love toward one another proves our discipleship, love is unconditional and love is of God!
