The NT idea of "abiding", is used universally by legalists and Cross deniers to teach that.....>"if you abide you stay saved", and if you dont "ablde",... you lose your salvation..
Interesting, that the common denominator that you find in the theology of every legalist is their burning desire to try to make you think you can lose your salvation. They are obsessed with this heresy. Its is their core broken faith. It is the absolute BADGE they wear as "fallen from Grace",...and you can always find them in packs on Christian Forums trying to talk real believers out of their faith in Christ and into faith in SELF EFFORT, to TRY TO STAY SAVED.
Why?.......That is what the devil wants your faith to become........Not Faith in Christ to keep you saved, but lost faith in Christ to keep you saved. And these people are everywhere trying to get you up on your Cross of Self Saving....... Trying to do by "commandments" and "law", and "effort".....and "enduring to the end"........all this SELF EFFORT........in place of the Blood of Jesus that saved you and keeps you saved... = Once born again, always born again.

Abiding in the vine" is to be born again.
Thats what it means to ABIDE and that is where you ABIDE.
The VINE is symbolic for/as The Christ, and to be IN the VINE, is to be "In Christ",.... born again, as= "One with God".
This is the born again Spirit that "Abides" IN...the Vine., which is symbolic for The Christ.
Jesus is the Vine.
Jesus is the "root of Jesse".
Finding perfected discipleship is to never be this one...: "apart from Me you can do nothing".
Most believers live there.... and that is a broken faith, issue.........not a salvation issue.
To be "fallen from Grace" is to be born again yet your broken faith has become "what i do to get to heaven and stay saved"....instead of "What God did for me with the Cross" that Keeps me SAVED.
So, if a born again is always "in Christ", "One with God"< , which is how you always abide "in the VINE", then how can you still find yourself as :
"apart from me, you can do nothing'<... as Jesus also teaches regarding the born again?
Very simple...
All things with God , and all things with Salvation, are God caused and God given as a : Gift.
Salvation is a Gift.
Righteousness is a Gift.
You have the GIFTS of the Spirit that God's gives.
Prayers answered, is God giving you the solution on earth.
So.........What about living holy and having a perfected discipleship???, or as Paul teaches...>"Christ always GIVES ME ... the Victory" and "being Made free, from sin".
Reader, notice carefully who is doing that for Paul?... Its not Paul doing it. Its Paul receiving THE Victory. that Christ always GIVES......
And You have it also..... IF you are born again, AND learn to exist IN the Power of God, that does it for you and through you.
This is the renewed mind.

This is why Paul, the apostle to the gentiles said...>"when i am WEAK, then >i am< strong"...
Notice something interesting.....>>He says......"I am" ...strong.
Reader, "I am" is God's title for Himself. Its Jesus saying...>"before Abraham was...I AM".
See that? So, that is Paul saying that "i am" is the power of GOD in Him that is the power of 'Victory", that is found only when Paul is not trying to be the power, and is "weak".
That means...>"when you stop trying to be the power, then God become the power in you as GRACE...who achieves the holiness for you, through you.
This is a vital part of the '"'gift of Salvation""" that most do not realize, because they are taught that you are to be resisting and striving in YOUR POWER< and that is the power of discipleship failure.
Paul tells you to put on the "whole armor of God", and most believers and all "religious but lost", are trying to be it, instead.
You are not told to BE the armor of God, you are told to put it on.......
The Armor of God is SPIRITUAL POWER, as we the born again """""" wrestle not against flesh and blood but against Spiritual WICKEDNESS""
See, salvation is not just forgiven sin and eternal security as Eternal LIFE found by being "'in Christ"..., its actually God's total provision for the empowering of the holy Life that He wants all His born again Redeemed to live as their real faith that is CHRISTianity.
God both starts and completes our salvation.
Our part is to RECEIVE "The GIFT of SALVATION", and learn how to exist within it.
God provided the Cross, God provides the power to live holy, ...He provides the New Body, and He provides the very end of your salvation.... which is to be "conformed into the image of Christ" ..totally.
Philippians 1:6
Our part is to receive it and exist within it, correctly at all times= in the right mind of real faith.
Even our faith is completed by Christ...... who is the "author and finisher....of....our....faith"
Hebrews 12:2
Salvation is all of GOD.
Discipleship is all of you, with God's empowerment.
To live in that empowerment is to exist in the renewed mind, : as resting in the Grace of God at all times, that IS the "Victory".
When you live in the wrong mind, then you are this....>"Apart from me, you can do nothing", Jesus says.
The power to live Holy is not found in doing, its found in God's Grace that is the empowering.
You get that, when you have Real Faith, that has come to the revelation of who you are in Christ, as....."The righteousness of God, in Christ".
When you SEE this Light, you become it, and that is when you REST in God's Grace, in real faith, that brings to you, "Christ always gives me the Victory".
