Aborting?

I have never been for abortion. My friend had one when she was a senior in High School. Then when she got married and even before then she had a hard time caring any child. It ruins the inside of you and is a big mistake not only for the child but for you. Redeeming-Love

I had a teacher who had previously been a social worker. We discussed abortion. She told me that there were some kids who should have been aborted, they should not have had to live in what they lived in. And as for adoption as an alternative...do you know how many kids end up in care and don't get adopted?

I don't understand your logic. And with that statement you said that I highlighted you've proven my point. Man has invented and done a lot of things that aren't necesarily good. He often uses twisted logic to justify actions that can be clearly perceived as wrong. If I went and killed your family in the name of the Lord, would it be right? Or would I just be a twisted person justifying my actions using the Lord's name in vain?
Can we see the future? No. How can you tell those kids can't have a nicer future? How do you know there's no hope for them? How do you know there won't be an artist, a pastor, a teacher, a hero among them?
If we use the logic of "we should kill anything that might suffer" then I guess we should also be killing all addicts, people with cancer, etc.
I respect your view of "pro choice". Abortion is a topic in which there will always be 2 sides but instead of judging whoever choses to have an abortion, I'd rather let the Lord judge that with His perfect judgement. I'm sure He'll judge each case separately instead of making one single general judgement since He's fair. But as I do with all the things in life, I'd rather stay on the safe side and not swim in the deep side of the pool.
 
I don't know what you think i said but my beginging statement is I'M NOT FOR ABORTION. I was just telling you what a friend of mine had done and i was saying i didn't agree with it. Redeeming-Love, I don't know if someone has been sending you hate mail on here, but I think it was very clear what your position was in your earlier post. And in no way did I see anything that stated you were for abortion, but rather one reason why you are against abortion.

If anyone has been harassing you, send the message on to a mod.

It's wasn't my logic, it was part of a conversation I once had with a teacher of mine while i was writing an essay on the topic. I don't think we should kill everyone that suffers the point that was being made is that those children were not wanted and because of that they suffered, a lot. The point that was being made was that if those people were not going to look after them perhaps they should not have had them. On the flip side I think if they weren't wanted then they should have been more careful in the first place. Or had the morning after pill.


Thank you for accepting my opinoin, I would like to share part of the reason why I feel the way I do....
I have a cousin, she has a blood disorder, she didn't know about it and one or her babies lost his life during labour because of it, she nearly died. Her next baby and her also nearly died during labour. Eventually they found out what was wrong (they didn't know she had the disorder it isn't part of routine checks and her symptoms are rare), when she fell pregnant again she kept the baby and they treated the symptoms, luckily he arrived on time and healthy however the pregnancy was still high risk. She is now a single parent and if she fell pregnant again then she would have an abortion. She has two boys to look after, she is the only parent they have and for that reason she will not have another high risk pregnancy that could kill her. Those boys need their mammy.

In my opinion, when there's another life at risk that's the only time when abortion could be discussed. I'm not saying it's right, I'm only saying it can be thought of. And even so, I don't know how the Lord would see it. As I said, I like to be in the safe side of things, specially if it involves decisions that you don't know how will be judged by the Lord.
But just because there might be a little situation, as the one you posted, that could put abortion in discussion, doesn't mean that it makes abortion as a whole alright. It's almost as saying that just because killing in self defense is alright, then every type of murder is alright as well.

I sometimes wish the Lord's arrival would be soon. Human kind has become so twisted that it discusses the life or death of their own specie. While other species of animals struggle to survive and have succesful births, we're here being irresponsible and trying to justify something that goes against God's nature.
 
The subject of abortion is not about what anyone feels or even thinks. It is also not about what a woman does with her own body or uterus.
Most out of wedlock pregnancy are the result of the sin of fornication. A miniscule few might be from rape &/or incest.

Once a life has been conceived it is no longer about her... An innocent life (pre- or post- birth) snuffed out is simply murder.

It is a heinous crime against humanity to destroy a life in what should have been its safest haven.

most of the animals who struggle die, I grew up on a farm.

I am pro-choice with abortion. Going by that birth control is far better. People should use birth control thereby preventing the need for abortion.
 
Never. I'm a virgin till marriage so nothing will happen till then; but if anything unexpected happens I'll just know it was God's plan for me at that time.
