"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." John 15:13

A mother laying her life down for her child is love, not suicide. No matter what the doctors say, she is not going to die unless it is God's perfect will.

Well, i would most definately die for my child in a heartbeat, but also what pickles said is rather realistic too....

first off, a fetus cant have viability outside its mothers room til around 27 weeks(actually i think it is earlier than that)

Ya kinda still have to keep the momma kickin for a while if you want to give the unborn a chance to live anyway.

If God wants the child to live, he/she will. :)

Heh, I think you know where I stand by now.

THink about the others member of the family...as a person i couldnt raise the child that bmore or less killed my wife...i dont think i could love a sibling that killed my mother. there would always be resentment there. Besides in the grand scheme of things i would rather be married with no kid to show for it, then to be a widower with a child.

I think when something hits that level its a personal decision between the family and god. I just know I could never support my wifes decision to go through with it. And i would push for the abortion.

If we read the word of God, we know what we are to not do in that situation. Do not murder. We all have trials to face in this life. We cannot trust our human instincts, but rather we need to put our full trust in the word of God for our answers.

My own sister found out in the third month of her pregnacy she has cervical cancer, stage three.
Drs said that her baby would have cancer as well.
Drs urged her to abort and start surgury and treatment right away or she could die.
In fact her first drs refused to keep her as a patient unless she did as recomended.
She found another dr, who specialised in at risk preganancies.
She recived no treatment during her pregancy, the slightest touch to her cervix brought bleeding.
She carried Her child to full term, her son was born not with one placenta, but two surrounding him.
He was perfect and healthy.
Drs tested her for cancer two weeks after her child was born, the cancer had reverced to simple diplasia, treated with a simple freezing to remove remaining cells.
She went on to have more children with out complications.
Many times drs claim a risk or serverely defromed baby, and are wrong.
Another close friend was told her baby was so baddly deformed he would not live, this was the result of an amneo, she decided it was not her desision to make ansd carried her child to term, he was born healthy and whole.
It was later determined that blood had gotten into the fluid, givng a false reading.
I just wanted to share this as many are not given the truth.
We are given so many reasons why one should abort by society, yet so many of the reason are wrong.
Trusting in God, seems to be the best choice, as man is not perfect. :)
Praise God that He is! :)

God bless.

I still question how far along she was, :) but seeing the photo of a baby so small it fit in the palm of one's hand is very convicing.
It was an amazing thing to see. :)
The one that broke my heart was a mom who took her daughter for an abortion, her daughter was 8 months along, I cannot begin to consider how any dr could see this as ok, even in the worldly thought.:)
God bless.

When I was pregnant with my first daughter, based on some testing they done at that time, I was underweight by about 5 pounds maybe, they said she "might" be born with a mental heart retardation, and more than likely die before the age of 1. Now, keep in my mind this is my first baby, Im 19 at this time, and barely into my second trimester. Naturally I would not hear of an abortion ( believe it or not there were many such drs in this genetics ward suggesting I do this very thing), simply because my weights off. So, I went thru a omniosentesis, wore a prayer cloth pinned to the inside of my waistband, trusted God , and shes a healthy , happy 20 year old today with a beautiful lil baby of her own ( my avatar)....God is good!

Amen and beautiful!

The saddest part is most young women are told it is only a blob of tissue, then later they learn the truth.
Why are those that promote this so willing to lie? if what they promote is so good by their ideals?

God bless.

I don't want to think my "way;" I want to live my life according to the gospel of Jesus Christ. Shouldn't all, who profess to be Christian, do the same?

Having a family should never change our relationship with God and our obedience to His word.
If we choose our family over God, we are none of His.

"He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me." Matthew 10:37
