This is just an idea of mine still.
Lately I've been thinking I need to do something importnant with all my spare time,
and a Swedish newspaperarticle gave me an idea.
There was a singlemother who created a clothraising for low-income singlemothers
who had difficulties providing for their children.
----
I was thinking I could try to do something similar, but in another way..
I have skills in design and webdevelopment and server-side scripting such as php,
so I could code a website that allows people to sign up as volountary donators,
who can send whatever clothes they want to give to me and others - and then get info &
receipt of where their clothes went + a thankcard in return.
There could also be a "prayer-page" where you could post your prairs and share.
Now I want this to be a christian npo (nonprofit organization), so I would want
the clothes to be given in favour of christian charity work or similar.

I don't know if people would be interested, I know there are a lot of people who are
doing this already and there are clothgatheringstations in every major city - but very
few of them have purely nonprofit ambitions and people are too comfortable to gather
all their clothes and go there - or simply can't. Not everyone can afford cars or transport..
It's easier to just pack the clothes up - walk to your nearest postal service and mail
them away. And why not give outgrown clothes to christian charitywork instead of
throwing them away?
Therefore I think it's doable and I want to at least try to do it.
So please help me out with your thoughts about the following things.
1. If you would do this:
- What would you name your organization and its website?
- Which organizations would you support and give your clothes to?
- What in relation with my described idea would
you want to change?
2. Do you think this would work?
