Accept to lose what is shaky so that only what is unshakable remains (Hebrews 12.25-27).

- “All choices have a loss. Those who are not prepared to lose the irrelevant will not be able to conquer the fundamental.”

I found out this sentence on the internet and I liked very much. This has to do with Jesus said:

  • “And he who does not take up his cross and follow Me is not worthy of Me. He who finds his life shall lose it. And he who loses his life for My sake shall find it.” (Matthew 10.38,39)

We long for holding up what we conquered and ended up don’t make room for the novelties of the spirit (see Romans 7.6). It is no good holding up to our past (Phil 3.13,14). We need to live for the present (Psalms 118.24), but always opened to embrace the future. Who stays in the past get behind and end up losing the best of Jesus for their lives.
