Sorry, what is BDF? Anyway, the acronym TULIP was devised in 1905 as an abbreviation for the so-called "Five Points of Calvinism", which do not state all of Calvinism, just those five points written in answer to the five points of the Arminian Remonstrance. The acronym stands for: Total depravity, Unconditional election, Limited atonement, Irresistible grace, Perseverance of the saints.
