Where would Adam and Eve be today, if they had not eaten the forebidden fruit?

Adam and Eve were given an evil inclination (yetzer hara in Hebrew), which was a test. If they did not eat of it, the physical world would be either be heaven itself or heaven and earth would be together. The purpose of mankind is to be one with G-d. As good parent He wanted to reward His creation but can reward anyone without a challenge or a choice? Therefore since the sin, the entire world has been deemed to rectify every aspect of it. Abraham was the first to truly change things around, hence why God used his seed to be the light to all nations.

As the wisest man said “The purpose of man is to fear God and to fulfill his commandments” (Ecc 12:13)

I don't think it would matter because we wouldn't exist. Because the Lord rested on the seventh day I find it hard to believe Jesus was plan b.

Thankyou for your reply. The command given to Adam and Eve was to be fruitful and spread the garden of Eden. No mention made of going to Heaven.
Heaven is God's dwelling place. The earth is mankind's. If anyone went to Heaven before Jesus. Who and scripture please.

If Adam and Eve had remained loyal and not sinned. Jesus wouldn't have needed to be born as a human and sacrifice his perfect human life. The fact God sacrificed his only begotten son (his personal creation) is hardly a mere 'plan B'

Gen 1:28 seems to be in the wrong spot, because the bible says to “them” be fruitful and multiple. But who is they if only Adam is alive at the moment? Furthermore, why were they told to be fruitful and multiple?

Why did God create man and what is the purpose?

The Bible is not in chronological order and it’s not a book to give your one spec more of information than needed for us mankind on earth to live on (hence why we don’t need to know how the earth was formed etc).

Now I don’t want to dwell to deep but 7 things were created before the world and Messiah, Heaven, Hell, Torah, Garden of Eden and others were created before hand. Jesus dying on the cross would be the last thing any father would want to do, so yes Jesus didn’t have to “come to earth” to die to solve our problems if we didn’t sin and we repented with the thousands of years we hand before hand.

Adam and Eve had a mission, and that was to be the original messiah which as we all know “connects heaven and earth together”. We can see this with Shabbat, the Temple, Jesus himself, parables and even our own soul. God desires to connect heaven and earth and mankind is that mediator. Picture God as a nuclear power plant and us like a cell phone. Could you plug a cell phone into a nuclear power plant and not blow up? No! Moses could not see God and live because God is beyond our imagination. He is an Infinite God and not a finite human creation.

Now Adam and Eve were at such a high level because they never sinned and you know that whatever doesn’t sin or is cleansed of sin can we one with God! Hence why Jesus is needed in order for us to be with God. But once Adam created the first sin, that sin “separated” man from God (earth from heaven) and that is why God put blazing swords around the gates of the Garden of Eden!

Now something a little more special for the ladies. If you notice the verses, Adam is not born in the Garden of Eden, the Garden is built after and the woman is created in the garden (a much holier place). This is women are much more in touch with this world and men need much more refining. Also you ever wonder why men can intentionally waste seed (huge sin as we learn from Yehuda’s sons) and women cannot forcefully? Men like Adam again are less refined then women and hence why they have many more commandments then women, but they also hold all the “seeds of mankind”. Hence Adam the original man hand all the seeds of mankind within him and if they did not eat, Adam and mankind and God would be “One”. This is why Jews sing “Shema Yisrael The Lord Our God is One” and why Jesus calls all of mankind “Elohim” (a name of a God). Because we were all created from God and we all have the ability to be united as one.

That is also why loving your neighbour as yourself is one of the most important things! Why one cannot bring a sacrifice to the Altar as Jesus says, without first making peace between your brother!

I hope that makes sense!

Hello! :)

And why would any father make plan A to kill their only son? (I just wrote this reply for you to recap on that thought but I wrote it all in my longer reply).
