Ever pray for something or ask God not to put you in a certain situation....but he didn't answer your prayer and he still put you in a situation anyway...how do understand that Gods intentions are still good without getting upset or even questioning God ??????

God must have known you can handle the situation because it says in the Bible that God will never put you in a situation that you cannot handle.
It's all in the way you pray. You won't have disappointment if you just surrender your life into His hands to give or take away what is necessary for your spiritual growth and the ministry He is equipping you for. He seems sometimes to take us on detours, but look at it as opportunities to learn. I always ask Him "How should I respond to this?" or "How do you want to reveal yourself to me through this? It is an adventure.

I have been praying a similar prayer for a while, that the Lord would not put me in a certain situation regarding a family member. As I have been praying this prayer, I'm feeling as if this is exactly what the Lord may do, is put me in a situation I don't want to be in. I totally understand your thought. I'm not sure what your situation was, that you wanted to avoid, but I do know that the Lord doesn't lead us into temptations or hostile situations. We just need to be equipped as in having our armor on daily, so we are prepared for whatever comes our way. Ephesians 6 "Put on the Full Armor of God" which is something I forget to do a lot before starting my day. I know if we are a child of God, His word says " All things work together for Good, to those who Love the Lord...

No. I've never had God not answer. I've often (usually? Always? Feels like always. lol) had God give me an answer I wasn't expecting.
Peter was crucified.
Paul was executed.
Stephen was stoned to death.
What makes you think God won't put you in harm's way? What do you think is God's version of off-limits?
Feel free to question God, but the generalized questions ought to be, "What can I do for you today?" Sounds like you want him to do for you, instead of the other way around. Even there, he gives an answer. Read the Book of Jonah -- a story about a guy who refused to do what God commanded him to do.
I've concluded God will get me where he wills me to go one way or the other. My choice is to get there by a boat going that way or get there in the fishes' belly. One way or the other, if God wills me to go somewhere, I'll get there. Same with you. So, sure, feel free to question God, but assume he always answers. He answers for his glory, not yours, but if you are his, it is always for your good. Romans 8:28.

I respectfully disagree. God often puts me in a situation I can't handle. I'm in two right now. I can't handle this, so I have to rely on God helping me.
