I really really want to sing at church but I feel like my shyness is holding me back. But I don't want to let the talent that God gave me to go to waste yet that is exactly what I'm doing :/

Well if you want it, you have to go for it. You have to go out of your comfort zone. It's definitely not easy, but it's what has to be done. You can do it.

don't be shy, you can do it. i am also shy before but i have to overcome my shyness in order to get things done.
Ask God for the strength to overcome your weakness. It's hard and difficult at times, but God, and may other's will be sooooooooo proud of you when you are able to get up in front of everyone and sing praises to the Lord! I know I was like that, I don't sing for my church, but I do contest in school and it took me two years to overcome my stage shyness. You Can Do It!

Using our talents takes practice. When I see our young people leading the song service, I think "wow, that would be so great to have a good singing voice and be up there just singing your heart out" . It'll be fun...do it!
The Old Testament tells of King David dancing in his underclothes with joy as the Ark of the Covenant was brought back to Jerusalem. I doubt that would go over well in church, but the joy and inhibited nature of his worship is very appealing. I look forward to the time when we can all sing and dance in heaven with the heavenly choir and no one will feel awkward or embarrassed. And everyone, including me, will sing on key. It will be great fun.

Totally agree with everyone! Im like the shyest person! alive and i often tell myself that i will not be shy infront of GOD, because then when You are at the judgmental stage with God then he will be shy towards you.. This is wht my mom said to me when i was also shy to sing infront people...dunt worry do it for the Almighty Father, and out LOrd Savior! you can overcome anything if you believe !! I pray for u
