Her complaints are that people who had good jobs now have crummy jobs doing "data annotation" which means they are training AI to do more people's jobs.

In all of human history has the fact that people got displaced from their jobs due to some machine or technology doing it better ever caused people to not develop new tools?
If she was a tech billionaire that owned one of these AI's and was talking about how she is going to put a stop to the development of her AI because of these harms, then fine, this might be something. But this is a person who has 0 power to effect change saying that others need to change their behavior and business model.
I listened to the entire thing and thought her analogy of transportation was useless. I was hoping for some insights, very disappointed because she seemed to be very much tuned into what is going on at first, very knowledgeable, and very skeptical.
She likened Alpha Fold to a bicycle. I would liken it to an incredibly sophisticated and precise machine designed to do one job really well.
