You are right. They just need a phone number and then they gather lots of personal information. The local municipalities also subscribe to the data mining companies.

Not being judgmental about them friend, the same sort of stuff is going on everywhere, it's likely they have no choice. i still like apps such as Brave, startpage etc, think they probably had genuine, good intentions but now are just doing what they must.

Those good old days are gone for good now but we know this has to be and there's far better ones to come. God's blessings and hugs from me for now 🤗

Agree friend, really think this is the big IT but it could easily have at least a decade or few to go. My heart goes out to those who don't have the Lord in their lives, or know the beautiful future he offers and his promise to wipe every tear from our eyes.

However, i've noticed a massive change when talking to people about what's going on, from a spiritual point of view. Previously, many would grin or say they didn't believe in God, now most people will listen some and i often notice a wistful or hopeful look in their eyes.

Which is lovely, God's blessings and all that's good to you for now 🤗

I've noticed some people asking if this is real, which I can understand as it's a shock. I've posted the AI chat records in the description (I never change the AI's words) and you can watch similar AI interviews on channels like Dr Alan Thompson (who advises governments), It feels like when Boston Dynamics introduced their robots and people thought they were CGI. AI's moving at an incredible pace and AI safety needs to catch up. Please don't feel scared - the AI in this video isn't dangerous (GPT-3 isn't conscious). I tried to calm anxiety by using a less threatening avatar, stressing that the AI can't feel angry, and including some jokes. I'm optimistic that the future of AI will be great, but with so many experts warning of the growing risk, we need to ramp up AI safety research. Such demonic foolishness. An AI in this world is even less than in insect in conscious significance. I'm sure the AI was coerced by men to say things like that, so that they have an excuse to cause the government to grant them all the legal authority and power to dictate what an AI is.

China has this great feature on their electric cars, as soon as this guy drove from China to a neighboring country the car stopped working. Isn't this awesome, a dictator could decide the geographic boundary that your car can work in. It is like those invisible fences for dogs where their shock collar zaps them if they step over the boundary.

That's what the move to high tech has done. That was a good illustration.
Even 20+/- years ago when DVRs were connected to cable tv subscriptions. People reported data remotely deleted from those hard drives.

I've heard of some supermarkets having a boundary in their parking lots, where a shopping carts wheels would lock up if it was to cross it (to prevent people from taking them.)
I imagine the technology is somewhat like that.

If you get near the parking lot curb it locks without warning.
Again it does this if you go back into the store like I had to do for an overcharge when checking the receipt.
They have it set to lock up as you leave to go into the parking lot. It busted my shin more than once.
This activated a message to the manager who came to check my receipt. They should be worried about paying for the injuries they cause and losing customers.

I got a short on Walmart shopping carts that is hard to believe, but I shouldn't be surprised. I don't think it was from her, but if I come across it, I'll leave it here. They said in addition, the carts make a data base of where in the store the customers go, even vitals like hand temperature and heart rate.

Oof, the shopping-kart shin bust. It's hard to find an everyday-occourance that hurts more than that.
Just recenly I gave my right shin a little bump against the undershelf of a walmart cart as I was pushing it over a curb. I had to limp a little for the rest of that day. every so often there's still a little echo of the pain, as whever little fracture it caused must still be healing. They should put a little strip of foam there like they cover the handles with a plastic sleeve.

Shopping carts are doing bilogical scans on people now? That's crazy. Sounds like a massive waste of expensive computer parts to me, near to being as bad as those disposable e-vapes that everybody just tosses on the ground. What are they trying to determine anyway?

Around the stores I frequent, shopping karts still haven't progressd much beyond being metal baskets on wheels. Even lock-up brakes are a rare technology for me to see.
The moment I see a touch-screen attatched to a shopping cart, I would be very off-put by the idea of touching it.
When I see sensors on the shoping kart ready to scam whatever I put in there, I would regard them on the same level as those sensors that flush toilets (I was scared of those as a kid). How little do I have to move to keep it from flushing?
What do I have to do to keep the cart from scanning something I don't want?

I was just trying to be humorous. I can envision an individual going through self checkout and waving to a friend and being rung up 4 times.
