I was late for work today. I was about an hour and fifteen minutes late. On the way to work that old attitude sprang up again. It was my fault I was late, but that old attitude tried to find someone else to blame. And then I said in my mind, ''I don't want to work here anyway.'' I wanted to blame anyone else but myself, but I had to rebuke that thought, and accept the fact that I should have been more responsible about it. Yes, I had to rebuke it.

But I am glad that it happened, because I got a revelation on the way to work.

Our conscience is very much like an alarm clock. When we do something sinful, or when we see something evil, or when we hear something evil, our conscience goes off full blast to let us know it is wrong. We get so many red flags, that THIS IS WRONG!!! We are tossed back and forth by the thoughts, justifying and condemning each other.

However, many people like to hit the snooze button on their conscience, (Like I have), and then they fall asleep, or turn of the alarm, and end up late. Others altogether disarm the alarm, and so they cannot even tell how asleep they are.

The Holy Spirit is like the Father of a child who is asleep, who, if the alarm doesn't do it's job, comes in and shakes the child, and tells him to get up. And he leaves, and he comes back later, patiently, nudging the child, telling him to get up. The child remains asleep or gets up. However, if he finds the child asleep the third time, he will smite him and shake him violently. And if he misses the bus, he will be very angry with that child.

So now we see a difference between disobedient and obedient people. Some people, after hitting the snooze maybe once, get up and go. Some get up right away. Others miss the bus.

And if a person is told to do something and says, NO" and later repents and does it, he is obedient. But if a person says, ''I WILL,'' and later doesn't this person is disobedient.

The Lord has sent his messengers, bearing witness of Jesus, telling people to repent of sin, but once that time of Judgement is Set, there will be no excuse. NO EXCUSE. You have heard many many many times, that we need to follow Jesus and not the ways of this world. And this world has trained many people to take the batteries out of the conscience alarm, and they will be asleep until the Lord comes, in that final hour of temptation. Let the Holy Spirit wake you up, because this is the last time, the time of his ministry. The next time Jesus comes, he will come fierce and full of judgment and righteousness. The Lion of Judah!

May Jesus bless you.
