This incredible discovery was made in April this year. I belong to no organised church but believe that the Shroud is real. The second face from the back discovered in 2002 very faintly has been processed by a film scientist and he has revealed the alive face of Jesus with eyes open, check it out here from a cathlic church site from Germany

I can see the face on Mars and the Man in the Moon better than I can see this.

Anything that science can sink its teeth into is falsifiable and therefore dubious at best.

Look at the last image ,the image on the beginning is the actual back of Shroud, the processed image is on the angled lcd screen. I see it clearly on the angled screen ,the pure in heart will see God.

View it in small screen is best . It takes a few minutes for your mind to adjust, yes it is a faint grainy photograph but once you see the eyes and nose it will appear to you. The Shroud now has the miraculous photo hologram of the resurrected Christ.

So is the "Jesus on toast" from a few years back evident to true believers as well? The shroud of tourin has been dated and it didn't come from Jesus's time period. That being said its possible thats wrong, but I find it a higher probability that the shroud is a hoax designed to draw tourists, and more importantly the tourists pocket books.

Show me a dirty cloth, clouds in the sky, tea leaves, etc. and give me enough time and I can "decode" it to find whatever picture I'm objectively searching for.

Goodnight.

I am not sure why there is any discussion. According to the bible it was torn in strips. Should be impossible ?

It's great that you can find God in the piece of cloth. It's great when you can find God in anything where you have not found Him before. It's also great to have such strong faith you don't need to find Him at all. It's hard to decide which, while we live on this earth of cloth and other things, to decide which is better, the faith or the finding.

Although not all of us are Christians, no one here has said that they don't believe in god, they're only questioning the claim that you can see Jesus's face in an allegedly ancient cloth.

"Blessed are the pure in heart for they will see God" is what the bible says.

It does not say "Blessed for the pure in heart because they will see Jesus in a sheet."
