I am not a Catholic either. I did preach a message about Mary this month.
Mary carried the hope for all of humanity
Mary carried eternal life and salvation
Mary Carried the anointed one.
Mary carried the Light of the world.
Then I preached that if you child of God: you carry the hope for all mankind today, you carry eternal life and salvation, you carry anointing of the anointed one, and you are and carry the light of the world.
It was deeper than what I listed here, but you get the idea. I did not worship Mary, or spend much time talking about her.
Mary was a type and shadow for all born again Christians who would carry Jesus inside and be sanctified temple of God!
The Holy Spirit resides in the belly...
John 7:38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
God has made pregnancy and travail to illustrate spiritual birth.
Micah 4:10 Be in pain, and labour to bring forth, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail: for now shalt thou go forth out of the city, and thou shalt dwell in the field, and thou shalt go
even to Babylon; there shalt thou be delivered; there the LORD shall redeem thee from the hand of thine enemies.
5:3 Therefore will he give them up, until the time
that she which travaileth hath brought forth: then the remnant of his brethren shall return unto the children of Israel.
1 Thessalonians 2:9 For ye remember, brethren, our labour and travail: for labouring night and day, because we would not be chargeable unto any of you, we preached unto you the gospel of God.
Galatians 4:19 My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,
Merry Christmas and may many be born again in the next year into the Kingdom of God!
