All things work together for good to those who love God and are called according to His purpose. (Romans 8.28):
Many times we harp on about the fact of Jesus, apparently, don’t hear our prayers. Nonetheless, He, through His wisdom is uttering His words in every place:
*In the streets*: while we are walking, questing for merchandises or to pay bills, etc., one way or another, Jesus speaks with us. We are those who don’t crave for hearing His voice. Furthermore, we walk so hectic and in a hurry that many things pass unaware, including Jesus’ voice;
*In the chief place of gathering*: while we are in supermarkets or stores in general, we only care about buying; while we are in feasts, we only care for eating, drinking, maunder and so on. Usually we overlook the love for the neighbor and fail to care for glorifying Jesus’ name and confirming His word;
*In the openings of the gates*: this was the place where people used to carry out the judgment. Many times, we get incensed at someone for picayune reasons and, amid this angry, we sue the person, forgetting that everything that we receive was by grace. And living under grace means that we aren’t worthy of anything that we have.
That is to say, we are in perpetual debt in relation to the Creator, so that we can’t right of charge the “one hundred denarii” (Matthew 18.28) that somebody owe to us because this is part of the “ten thousand talents” that we owe (Matthew 18.24). And, if we neglect this, the forgiveness of the Creator that is on us (that is, the privilege of being used by Jesus for His glory to love the brethren – 1John 4.8-10; 5.3) will be removed (Matthew 18.34,35);
*In the city, as a whole*: in every place, at each moment, Jesus is conveying to us His message, mainly in the tiny things. If we have good eyes (Matthew 6.22,23) to recognize, in each meeting, one miniscule pearl of wisdom whatever and we are able to convey at least a little tad of “olive oil” to the person with who we are having contact, we will learn many things along the life and will make many friends.
Not to mention that He promised to pour out His Spirit on us and make His word known. Therefore, Jesus’ wisdom is crying out at every moment of our lives. Only rest and bide in Him (Psalms 37.7) and you will enjoy days fraught of wisdom.
