What was said in the conversation between the 1 son and the father? Did he ever get in contact with the other son? Can you describe the black streaks? Can you also say if the hanging was the actual cause of death?

I am leaning toward the son, and the hanging was to throw us off....the hit in the head did him in....He went to a restaurant, most likely not in torn clothes. That means there was a struggle, which could be what caused the black streaks and the hit on the head was because he was holding his own. So it is unlikely the guy hung him while he was putting up a fight. Right now it seems like he took the alias of Ben...possibly stole someone's identity?
 
The oldest son had a phone, his father called him to let him know that he had given his life to Jesus and was sorry for all the hurt and neglect he had done to him and the family for not being the husband and father he should had been and asked his son to forgive him and invited him to church the next Sunday. His younger son didn't have a phone, so, he went to him to apologize as well.
