Hey thanks everyone for your posts I really appreciate it and it has shed some light on the issue. I am going to start praying to see if medication is an option and will have to speak to a counselor about speaking to others about social anxiety and ways to relate to others. It was probably my pride which kept me from speaking to someone about it. And keeping up that image to my members is very difficult at times but I don't want it to be a fake persona, i want it to be real. I will keep in touch and thank you all again for the advice![]()
I am sorry for not being that friend when you needed one.
I would advise against medication to solve the problem of loneliness since the side effects including being the cause of having thoughts of suicide.
So let us go to the Lord in prayer about seeking His help and understanding of loneliness is really a problem or not.
Psalm 68:8God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.
So God may be responsible for your not wanting to socialize.
I cannot have friends either because of my enemies. They are determined to sow discord and look for opportunities to defraud me or show how dumb I am. I cannot work, get another job, and even if I did, hold unto that job without them making sport on me.
I read the Psalms and I can identify with the words in the persecution they are going through. In this, I do not feel alone in my persecution. They have gone through it, and so did Jesus. He told us to expect it and so I recognize my limit as I cannot go forth because of my enemies.
I am blessed by the Lord to be living with my folks and He has provided a stipend for me to live on and have medical insurance provided primarily by the state.
So why rail against the storm whethor it be against us or from within us when Jesus Christ is with us always?
My mind has peace when it is stayed on Him.
There is a saying that if you can find one real good friend, you are lucky or blessed. Well, all believers have that friend in Jesus Christ. I lean on Him to help me to love my enemies and to love others as He has loved me even if it is from afar by praying for my enemies and those around me.
I have to say though that I had a dream prophesying about a raccoon turning into a cat and soon after that, came that cat with a raccoon tail design into our family. I have to say the cat does cheer me up. Maybe you ought to consider a pet, brother, but real peace is leaning on Jesus as my Good Shepherd and my Friend in helping me to be His friend in following Him by continuing in His words to be His disciples even if that means not fellowshipping at church where faith is hard to find let alone defend by reproving the works of iniquity within by the scripture in the KJV.
Fellowshipping with the Father & the Son is far more valued than fellowshipping in an unbiblical church where they want no one changing the status quo or making waves in order to honour the Son in keeping the faith which is the good fight.
